Hello Bluebird-Warm Wishes

Hi there! This month I’m joining Hello Bluebird to help showcase their adorable October release. This card features the Cocoa Party stamp set as well as the Warm Wishes die.

Hello Bluebird-Cocoa Party/Warm Wishes die

For the background I blended Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick on the top of the panel and Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon on the bottom followed by some flicks of the the same distress inks. I colored the images with Copics, die cut them with the coordinating dies and popped them up onto the blended panel.

There’s more to come, but you can check out some adorable projects over on the Hello Bluebird blog using these cute new sets. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Rudolph sends his love

Hi there! Today I have a simple little tag to share. Sometimes you just need a little tag to put on a gift without all the fuss. Rudolph’s got ya covered:)

CZ Ho Ho Dear Circle, Tabbed Sentiments Holiday

I used the one of the Large Tag dies with some pattern paper included in the November Card Kit. Then I die cut the CZ Ho Ho Deer Circle die into the tag. This die is also included in the November Card Kit. I die cut the deer again with kraft cardstock and rounded the bottom of the deer’s neck using one of the Nested Circle Dies. I also die cut a few more of the deer using white cardstock to layer onto the nose and colored the top nose & eyes with Copics. I added glossy accents to the nose and stamped a sentiment from the CZ Tabbed Sentiments Holiday set.

I almost popped this tag up onto a card, but I really wanted to show how cute it is on it’s own. I just love the open space and glossy nose. You can see more fun inspiration using the November Card Kit HERE! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Flora and Fauna Holiday

Hi there! Today I have a couple of sweet and simple holiday projects to share with you featuring some darling sets by Flora and Fauna.

Flora & Fauna-Brush Poinsettia, Holiday Word Party 2, Home for the Holidays

Nothing better than a reindeer who can’t fit inside a cute red card with a rainbow scarf. Am I right?

Flora & Fauna-Home for the Holidays

I used the Home for the Holidays set. I stamped the reindeer first and masked it off with a post-it and then stamped the card. I used Copics to color the images in and popped the panel onto a cream card base. I also added a couple of yellow jewels to the headlights for fun.

Flora & Fauna-Home for the Holidays

This next card uses the Brush Poinsettia set for the background. I stamped all of the foliage with Winter pigment ink for a subtle pattern.

For the sentiment I stamped the “falala” from Holiday Word Party 2 with white pigment ink and then went over each letter again with dye inks, slightly offsetting the letters for a shadow affect. I used post-it tape to mask the letters so that I could stamp each one a different color. I added a coordinating sentiment from Holiday Word Party 2 along with a few sequins.

That’s all for today. Check out Flora and Fauna to see their fun, new products. Thanks so much for stopping by!

2019 Layton’s Legacy Fundraiser & Card Drive

Hi there! Today I am joining my friend, Lea, as we remember her son, Layton, with a special fundraiser blog hop & card drive. We are raising money to purchase a $50 Starbucks gift card for all 50 beds in the level 4 NICU at the U of M Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Pinkfresh Studio-Layton's Legacy

My project features the Layton’s Legacy stamp & die set. I embossed the butterfly & sentiment in clear and blended Pinkfresh Studio inks using Mint, Ocean Breeze & Sapphire. I die cut a window into Fog cardstock and popped it up over the butterfly.

Jingle All the Way

Hi there! I’ve got a fun little jingle gnome to share with you using some of the new release products from the Cheer & Joy release by Simon Says Stamp.

SSS-Gnome, CZ Clean Line Christmas

How cute is this gnome? I think he could also pass for a cute little wizard, too, but I added a tiny little jingle bell to the tip of his hat to make him festive. I just used a mini glue dot to hold the bell. For his nose I used an E000 Copic to give it the flesh color on white cardstock.

SSS-Gnome, CZ Clean Line Christmas

I popped up the jingle gnome onto khaki cardstock and embossed a sentiment from the CZ Clean Line Christmas set. This card is tall and skinny(3.25″x6.75″) to fit the gnome better. I looked high and low, hunting for my action wobble springs. I think it would be fun to wobble the gnome so that the bell would jingle.
