My project features the adorable Cupcake Wishes images. I stamped the images with Memento ink and colored them with Copics. For the background I blended distress inks in Twisted Citron & Mermaid Lagoon. After blending I flicked on some water as well as some liquid watercolors & white acrylic ink.

I blended distress inks onto a panel of white cardstock using Spiced Marmalade, Worn Lipstick, Wilted Violet & Salty Ocean and then ran it through with the Triangle Element die. I inlayed the ink blended triangles into the white die cut on a navy background. The contrast of this on the navy absolutely toots my flute!

I created a couple of quick and easy projects using some of the fun new products.
This card, like most of mine, was an absolute evolution. I have an idea in mind, but the end result is always a surprise! Check out the video over on the Simon Says Stamp blog to see how I created it!

For the sentiment I embossed the “happy birthday” from Beautiful Flowers and die cut using one of the Nested Banner dies. For embellishments I used a few jewels in coordinating colors.
For this next card I used a heart mask that I created with one of the Ornate Love hearts dies and some acetate. This could be so much fun to do with various shapes like maybe triangles for a fun geometric design.

To begin I stamped several of the images from Birdie Wreath as well as the banner image from Hippity Hop and colored them with Copics. Then I used the coordinating creative cuts to die them out.
I added some Nuvo Jewel Drops in Rose Water, Orange Marmalade & Limoncello here and there for accents. Those Nuvo Drops are dangerous. Once you get started, it’s almost impossible to stop!
