Hi there! Yesterday I shared this project over on the Altenew blog featuring the gorgeous Floral Shadow stamp set.Altenew-Floral Shadow & Halftone SmileI created this colorful, dreamy background using Distress Oxide inks on Bristol paper.
Altenew-Floral Shadow & Halftone SmileI added a sentiment using the Halftone Smile stamps & dies and embellished with some delicious Nuvo jewel drops.

Neat and Tangled Birthday Blog Hop

Hello! Today I’m excited to join Neat & Tangled in a blog hop to celebrate their 5th birthday!Neat & Tangled-Balloon Duo & HoorayMy project features a few of the awesome new August release products. For the background I blended distress inks using the Balloon Trio stencil onto bristol paper.
IMG_8859I used the Hooray word die for the sentiment and stacked four together for dimension and then for top die cut I used some glittered cardstock.
Neat & Tangled-HoorayOn the inside of the card I stamped the sentiment from the Hooray stamp set and blended a few more balloons with distress inks using the Balloon Duo stencils. I popped up the panel onto some striped pattern paper and added a few sequins from the Like Magic sequin mix.Neat & Tangled-Balloon Duo & HoorayGIVEAWAY:

Mama Elephant-Little Boy Agenda

Hi there! Laura here and today I’m sharing another project featuring the adorable Little Boy Agenda stamp set along with the coordinating Little Boy Agenda Creative Cuts.Mama Elephant-Little Boy AgendaTo begin I stamped several images using the Little Boy Agenda set with Memento ink, colored them with Copics and used the coordinating Little Boy Agenda Creative Cuts to die cut them out. I also used one of the Mini Tags Creative Cuts to die cut six colorful little tags.Mama Elephant-Little Boy AgendaFor the background I blended distress inks onto bristol paper, and then I flicked on some water and diluted distress inks with a wet brush.Mama Elephant-Little Boy AgendaI popped up the cute images onto the Mini Tags and then onto the ink blended panel.Mama Elephant-Little Boy AgendaI love how the Mini Tags sort of frame the images as well as adding color. To finish it off I stamped a sentiment in the middle from Sunday Sentiments.Mama Elephant-Little Boy AgendaThese sweet little faces from Little Boy Agenda never cease to melt my heart. Encouraging Words Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for their Encouraging Words Release Blog Hop. Simon hosted two blog hops for this release. I thought these new Space Journey dies would work perfect for creating a colorful galaxy on a pop-up card.
SSS-Space Journey & You're a StarFor the sentiment I used the You’re a Star die. How cool are these colorful planets? I used several colors of Simon Says Stamp cardstock along with coordinating ink colors to blend on each planet for some added interest. Encouraging Words Release

Hi there! Today I have a few cards to share featuring a few of the gorgeous new product just release by Simon Says Stamp for their Encouraging Words release.SSS-Carolyn Stencil & Thanks You TeacherThis is such a fun release with a little bit of something for everyone! I fell in love with the gorgeous Carolyn Stencil and used it to create these cards along with the Thank You Teacher stamp set.
SSS-Carolyn Stencil & Thanks You TeacherUsing the Carolyn Stencil I blended distress inks onto watercolor cardstock. Then I embossed the sentiment in white onto vellum. I carefully added teeny tiny drops of glue behind the letters so that it wouldn’t show and then to finish it off I added some Nuvo drops. Using the largest Nested Circle dies I curved the top and bottom edges.
SSS-Carolyn Stencil & Thanks You TeacherUsing the same Carolyn Stencil I masked off four parts and ink blended with distress inks. Then I took another Nested Circle die to create a window for this fantastic sentiment.
SSS-Carolyn Stencil & Thanks You TeacherI was able to use the positive part from the leftover die cut above on this card below. I love it when I can get two cards for the price of one!
SSS-Carolyn Stencil & Thanks You TeacherAgain I using the Thank You Teacher set to emboss a sentiment on black and popped it up with foam tape with a few sparkling clear sequins to finish it off.

New CZ Design Release

Hi there! Have you seen the new release by Cathy Zielski for Simon Says Stamp? It’s fun, fresh, modern, sarcastic & awesome….just like her:)SSS-CZ DesignI’ve created a couple of projects using two of her new sets…Yay & the Everett Alphas.
SSS-CZ Design Everett AlphasI spelled out “woot” with the Everett Alphas and embossed them in clear. Then I used distress inks and post it tape to blend a smokin’ rainbow background. The “#nailedit” is from the Yay set. For the card below, I embossed the “yes” in clear, blended more distress ink over top and then die cut it out with one of the Nested Circle dies.SSS-CZ Design YayI absolutely LOVE Cathy’s handwriting and her humor even more! SSS-Magical Birthday

Hi there! Popping in to share a cutie patootie little project featuring the Magical Birthday stamp set by Simon Says Stamp. I’ll never ever ever outgrow unicorns & rainbows. In fact yesterday I persuaded my Emma to get some Lisa Frank folders for her school supplies. Her arm was easily twisted:)SSS-Magical BirthdayI stamped the images with Memento ink, colored them with Copics and fussy cut them out. For the background I blended distress inks onto Bristol paper followed by some flicks of water. I also smooshed the distress inks onto an acrylic block and with a wet brush I flicked some distress paint onto the panel.SSS-Magical BirthdayI added some wink of stella to the unicorn’s tail & mane followed by some delicious dots of Nuvo Drops.

Mama Elephant-Favor Bag Accessory-Halloween

Hi there! Today I’m sharing these cute little Halloween favor bags over the Mama Elephant blog featuring the Favor Bag Accessory-Halloween Creative Cuts.IMG_9407To add some detail to the favor bags I used a few borders stamps and stamped them onto colored cardstock. I used Trifecta on the cream cardstock, Boutique Borders on the lime cardstock and Basic Borders for the purple cardstock.Mama Elephant-Favor Bag Accessory-HalloweenAfter stamping the borders onto the colored cardstock I used the Favor Bag-XL Creative Cut and adhered the bags with score tape.Mama Elephant-Favor Bag Accessory-HalloweenI added adorable faces to each bag using the Favor Bag Accessory-Halloween Creative Cuts. SSS-Perfect Shapes dies

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of project using the Perfect Shapes dies.SSS-Perfect Shapes diesIt’s no secret that I have an obsession with all things geometric, and these triangle designs make my life worth living:) Even though I must’ve cranked that Big Shot like a billion times, it was all worth it to see these colors come together. UntitledMy inspiration came from this↑ ad I saw on Instagram the other day. I knew I had to try something similar.
SSS-Perfect Shapes diesThere are several sizes of triangles in the Perfect Shapes dies set. I used the second to smallest triangle for this card. I popped the design up onto a navy panel with an embossed sentiment from Many Thanks.SSS-Perfect Shapes diesI couldn’t stop at one and had to stretch the idea using a larger triangle die. This was also an effort to tame my scrap bin, but in the end, I think I actually made the scrap bin worse.SSS-Perfect Shapes diesI popped up two triangle clusters with foam tape and added a sentiment from the Jumbo Stripes stamp set.SSS-Perfect Shapes diesThat’s all for today!
