Volleyball Rainbow

Hi there! Today I have a rainbow volleyball themed card to share with you. My daughter, Bailey, recently made the volleyball team and I thought it was a perfect opportunity to make a card for her. She was nervous after coming back from two years in Germany, but she tried out and is doing so great!

SSS-Game Day Dies, CZ Silhouette Sentiments

To create the volleyballs I used the Game Day die set with several shades of solid colored cardstock. I trimmed each square to 2 1/4″ using a lighter shade and then adhered a darker shade of volleyball to each square using liquid glue.

SSS-Game Day Dies, CZ Silhouette Sentiments

There are so many other balls in the Game Day die set that you could create this same design for many different sports. For the sentiment I used the CZ Silhouette Sentiments set. I popped up the rainbow volleyball squares onto a Fog panel and then onto a white cardbase.

SSS-Game Day Dies, CZ Silhouette Sentiments

If you happen to have a sport loving member in your family, then this Game Day die set would be perfect to make those sporty cards. Wishing you a colorful day! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Geometric Builder Circles

Hi there! Today I’m sharing another project using the Geometric Builder Circles die set. I don’t think I will ever get sick of this die set. There’s just too many creative and fun patterns that you can make with it.

SSS-Geometric Builder Circles, Reverse Get Well Sentiment Strips

I used several little scraps of solid cardstock along with my Altenew Mini Blossom and created this fun little quilt-like pattern. I’m pretty sure there’s a name for this pattern, but I can’t seem to remember it.

SSS-Geometric Builder Circles, Reverse Get Well Sentiment Strips

For the sentiment I used one of the Reverse Get Well Sentiment Strips with the smallest Sentiment Label Dies. I popped the design onto a cream panel and then onto a white cardbase.
