Hi there! Today I’m joining Altenew for their Love & Friendship Blog Hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from the Altenew Card Blog.
I embossed the sentiment in white onto various shades of solid colored cardstock using the Tall Alpha Lowercase stamp set and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I added a few strips of cardstock along the bottom to give it a little kick:)

For this next card I stamped one of the border images repeatedly using Concord & 9th inks.
Using the MISTI allows you to easily move the cardstock and repeatedly stamp the border image to get consistent spacing each time. I added the die cut “you” from the die set.

I created a project similar to this a year ago before I had the Geometric Builder dies, which made it so much easier and more precise. Here is the older card.
My card above has so many imperfections because my measurements were far from perfect, but the Geometric Builder dies make it exact. I have more ideas than time with these dies, but whenever I do play with them, they make me so happy.
I masked off a circle to blend Ocean Breeze to make a frozen pond for the penguins to practice their fancy schmancy figure skating tricks:) I colored the images with Copics and added polka dots to the penguins sweater with a white gel pen.
I stamped all images with Intense Black ink and colored them with Copics. I fussy cut the images and popped them up over ink blended backgrounds. I love the sentiment on this card. It’s so fitting for my favorite kind of friends:)
Sale There will be 30% off (Friday – Sunday).
Giveaway Leave me a comment for your chance to win. Winner will win their choice of stamp set. Winner announced on Monday.
I using Pinkfresh Studio inks to blend the sky and then added Glitz Glitter Gel for the mountain detail. For the stars & moon I blended white pigment ink. I used the Hello word die from the Classic Words Die Set for the sentiment.
Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.
