Concord & 9th Color Release

Hi there! Just popping in to share the news that the Concord & 9th Color Release is finally available for purchase HERE! There are 22 new inks & matching cardstocks in the most gorgeous colors.

Concord & 9th-Color Release

These new inks are delicious. They are different than other inks I’ve used. They have a firmer pad and are juicy, but not too juicy. When they dry, the ink smooths out like butter. Some of these hearts were only stamped once. The darker shades stamp so vividly. I find the bleeding minimal and the stamped impression to be pleasantly sharp.

Concord & 9th-Hey Bestie, Tall Type Alphas

My project here uses all 22 new ink colors. I stamped each one with a small heart from the Hey Bestie stamp set. For the sentiment I used the Tall Type Alpha dies with gold glittered cardstock.

I shared this video a few days ago, but never posted it on my blog showing how I created this card.

A Pocket Full of Happiness

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project featuring some fun, new stamp sets from a brand new company called A Pocket Full of Happiness. This company was started by my very talented friend, Zsoka Marko. I think her designs are fantastic and I’m excited for her as she starts this new journey.

A Pocket Full of Happiness-Mosaic Circle Builder, Mix that Font

My project features a new set called Mosaic Circle Builder. To stamp he mosaic design I used Pinkfresh Studio inks: Mint, Ocean Breeze, Mermaid Cove and Sparkling Rose.

I created a shaker card by die cutting a circle window using a Hero Arts circle die and filling it with Pink Moonstone sequins. For the sentiment I used another new stamp set called Mix That Font.

Here’s a short, little video to show how I created this card.

I hope to feature more new sets soon! Make sure and check out Zsoka’s new shop, A Pocket Full of Happiness, HERE! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Pup Notes

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a few puppy themed cards that I created as a hostess gift for a couple who had us over for pizza last Friday. They run a shelter project finding homes for rescue dogs in Crete. They actually have seven dogs in their home now, so needless to say, my kids were in heaven.

SSS, Lil Critters Dachsund, CZ Chunky Love You

I used some new dies from the Send Happiness release featuring the Lil Critters Dachshund & CZ Chunky Love You. For the background I just trimmed some strips of cardstock and adhered them on an angle. I also used some Sunny Studios pattern paper for the back of the Chunky Love You die cut.

SSS-Lil Critters Schnauzer, CZ Chunky Love You

This next card features the Lil Critters Schnauzer and CZ Chunky Love You dies. I used more Sunny Studios pattern paper on the background. I die cut a circle window frame using one of the Nested Circles dies. For the backing of the Chunky Love You die cut I used Pinkfresh Studio pattern paper.

SSS-Picture Book Labrador, CZ Happy Days

This last card uses the Picture Book Labrador die with a sentiment from the CZ Happy Days stamp set. I added more strips of solid colored cardstock for the background.

Now all I need now is to get invited to dinner by a couple who owns a monkey shelter, lol! Then I would be in absolute heaven hanging with all the moneys, and could make a pack of monkey cards for the hostess. Not that I don’t love dogs. I love dogs, cats, monkeys and french fries:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

Send Happiness Release Blog Hop-Day 2

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for their Send Happiness release blog hop.

SSS-Scallop Borders, CZ Happy Days, Leafy Branch, Reverse Happy

I’ve created two projects using some of the new release goodies. My first card uses the Leafy Branch die.

SSS-Leafy Branch, CZ Reverse Happy

I die cut it with white cardstock and then colored the inner parts of the leaves with Copics. I layered four of the Leafy Branch die cuts for dimension and inset the colored pieces onto a Fog panel. For the sentiment I die cut one of the CZ Reverse Happy Sentiment Strips with one of the Sentiment Label dies.

SSS-Leafy Branch, CZ Reverse Happy

For my next card I used one of the Scallop Borders dies and die cut some rainbow colors of cardstock. I was so inspired by Shari’s rainbow scallop card that I couldn’t live another day without trying a rainbow scallop.

SSS-Scallop Borders, CZ Happy Days

For the sentiment I used the CZ Happy Days stamp set. I embossed the sentiment in white onto black and used the coordinating CZ Happy Days dies to cut the rectangle out.

Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.

Home Sweet Home

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project featuring the new Home Sweet Home stamp set that is included in the latest July Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.

SSS-Home Sweet Home

I created two rows of buildings for a sweet little street. Then I die cut a circle in the Sea Glass panel to tie in the cute airplane with banner flying behind.

SSS-Home Sweet Home

All of the images were colored with Copics and the clouds were stamped with Sea Glass ink. I embossed the banner in white onto black cardstock for a pop of contrast.
