Hi there! Today I’m sharing a colorful, apple project featuring the Layering Apple Die Set.
I used several shade of solid colored cardstock for each apple and then blended each one with a darker shade for more dimension. For the sentiment I used the Sunshine and Smiles Stamp Set.
I popped up the panel onto a Fog cardbase and added Starshine embellishment for a little bling. This could be a fun card for a teacher with the apples, but I think it works great for anyone anytime! Thanks so much for stopping by!
I used the Spiral Bound Die to add the top spiral border to each page and then bound it with the gold coils.
Using the Calendar Basics set I could customize the name of the month, day of the week as well as adding hearts to certain days for birthday reminders.
Here’s a video showing how I created this calendar.

Hi there! This month I have the honor of joining The Greetery again to showcase some amazing new products from their These Are The Days release available tomorrow, July 30th.
I’m sharing a few custom birthday calendar cards using the new Calendar Basics Stamp Set along with the Birth Month Blooms Stamp Sets. There are four different Birth Month Blooms Stamp Sets, one for each quarter. These are beautiful floral layering stamp sets. Above I stamped the rose and below I used the Hawthorn, which is technically the month of May bloom, but here I used it for an August birthday.
I used the Calendar Basics Stamp Set on each card to make a little calendar and added hearts or dates to the recipients birthdate. For the cards above and below I also used the Calendar Grid Stencil to add color to the grid. I also flicked some distress inks above in Antique Linen and below in Peacock Feathers.
My last card also uses the Spiral Bound dies to add the trim at the top of the panel. I stamped several blooms for this card and embossed the sentiment from One Fine Day in gold onto white. I added a linear calendar to the card on the upper left side of the cream cardbase. It’s hard to see clearly in the photo, but the video shows it in a bit more detail.
Here is a video showing how I created these cards.
