Sunny Vibes

Hi there! Have you seen the fun, new Sunny Vibes release with Simon Says Stamp? I’m sharing a couple of projects using some of these happy, new products.

My first card features the Repeating Rainbow die. I mean….can you even handle it? I paired it with the CZ Good Vibes die which I die cut out of vellum and holographic cardstock.

SSS-Repeating Rainbow, CZ Good Vibes

You could get so many fun looks by changing up the cardstock colors with this Repeating Rainbow die. I also added a few Mermaid Tail embellishments for some bling.

My next card features the Mini Fab Floral Plate. I adhered strips of solid colored cardstock behind for color and added a matte gold and vellum sentiment using the new You Brighten My Day die.

You Brighten My Day

There are so many different looks you could get with this die, too. I’m thinking back it with acetate and make it a shaker or inlay rainbow petals into each opening. That would take forever, but it would look so cool!

New Distress Spritz!

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project using some of the fun, new Distress Spritz colors by Tim Holtz. These are so fun and shimmery. Who doesn’t love shimmer?

I did a very simple project by masking off edges of a panel of Bristol with acetate and spritzing several colors. The colors I used on my project are(working from bottom and them clockwise) Picked Raspberry(my fave), Fossilized Amber, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet, Spiced Marmalade and Barn Door. I added a simple die cut sentiment using the CZ Simple Hello die with vellum & matte champagne cardstock.

Garden Party Collection Day 2

Hi there and welcome to Day 2 of the Garden Party Collection introductions with The Greetery! Today’s first card features the Sippin’ Summer Set & Summer Silly Straws Dies. How fun is this glass of lemonade with the silly straw that says hello? I added some sub sentiments from Squeeze the Day along with strips of solid colored cardstock along the bottom of the cup for more color.

My second card features the Large Lemon Stencil Set with sentiments from Squeeze the Day. I love this oversized lemon that has a coordinating die set to go with it, too.

My next card uses the Atrium Die with Matte Gold Cardstock. There is also an Atrium Hot Foil Plate. I added some greenery along the bottom with the Bird of Paradise & Palm Border Dies. I flicked some gold onto the card & added a sentiment from the Brew-Tea-ful stamp set.

My last card features the gorgeous BotaniCuts Wisteria Die Set along with sentiment from the Blessed Blooms Stamp Set. For the Wisteria die cuts, I used Sprout cardstock for the greenery and Lilac for the blooms. I blended the Sprout die cuts with Mowed Lawn ink and the Lilac die cuts with Wilted Violet & Blueprint Sketch ink. Then I flicked everything with white ink.

Pretty Pink Posh: June Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m joining Pretty Pink Posh for Day 1 of their June Blog Hop!

Pretty Pink Posh-Stitched Stars Dies, Rocketship Shaker Dies

My first project features the Stitched Stars Dies & the Rocketship Shaker Dies. First I blended the background panel, which was blue cardstock, with Chipped Sapphire & Wilted Violet. Then I die cut the stars into the panel to create a shaker. I added the Rocketship Shaker filled with Evergreen State Shaker Beads. I think this might be the first double decker shaker for me! It’s a shaker ON A SHAKER! The sentiment is from Outer Space.

My next card features the Layered Sports Balls Stencils for the background, which I blended with a rainbow assortment of distress inks.

Grad Cards

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of grad cards made recently using some fun Concord & 9th products.

Concord & 9th-World's Greatest, Sunburst

My first card was inspired by the live that Jennifer & Greg did using these World’s Greatest Dies. Greg showed a fun way to create the embroidery floss tassel, which I added to the side of the trophy. They also had the fun idea to add cash to the trophy. I used the Sunburst Die for the background.

Concord & 9th-Bravo Dies, World's Greatest, Sunburst

This second card uses the Bravo Dies with glitter and matte gold cardstock. I added the sentiment from the World’s Greatest and the Sunburst on the background as well. I love that you can easily customize the background color for the graduate.

Aurora Blooms

Hi there! Today I’m sharing another project using the gorgeous Aurora Blooms dies.

SSS-Aurora Blooms, Vintage Garden

For the background I die cut a panel of Buttercream cardstock using one of the Modern Postage dies. Then I masked off the edges and blended Buttercream ink onto the panel as well as flicking some gold aqua pigment on it. I stamped the sentiment from Vintage Garden in Black and Latte ink. Then I created a small cluster of blooms using the Aurora Blooms die set.

SSS-Aurora Blooms, Vintage Garden

Here is a reel I shared showing how I created this card. I love this gorgeous font paired with the postage border and blooms. Such a fun, vintage inspired yet still clean and colorful design.

Rainy Days

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project using some older products. I was busy cleaning and organizing my stamps & dies yesterday. You know what happens when you do that? Well, first of all, you get completely overwhelmed and want to light the house on fire. Then you find old stuff that you forgot about and loved and feel inspired to use it again.

SSS-Rainy Days, Nested Domed Arches, Cozy Autumn Hugs

We have had a ton of rain here in Illinois, which inspired this card, but also, rainbow umbrella!!! I love the pop of color over the dark peacock teal background. I used the Rainy Days die set for the girl and one of the Nested Domed Arches dies to frame here. For the sentiment I pulled out the Cozy Autumn for a very something very simple. Forgot to mention, I used a tiny white gem for the center of the embrella and a tiny scrap of old pattern paper for the girl’s skirt.

SSS-Rainy Days, Nested Domed Arches, Cozy Autumn Hugs

I think everything looks better framed with an arch, don’t you? Here’s to some sunny and dry days ahead. Thanks so much for stopping by!
