For both cards I did a lot of blending using distress inks(colors linked below). I masked off stripes using post-it tape and then for the beach card I only used the “dad” from the Best Dad Ever Die-namic and paired it with a sub-sentiment from Next to You.

For the card below I used the same Oh Hey Stencils with several inks. I started stencil one using Honeysuckle, Buttercup, Sprout & Aqua Sky. I continued to use the same colors with the next two stencils, just blending with more intensity, but on the last stencil I used Dragonfruit, Sunflower, Parsley & Oceanside ink for more pop. I adhered strips of solid colored cardstock on the Pebble background and added Dew Drops for embellishment. For the sentiment banner I used Aqua Sky ink on Aqua Sky cardstock.

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a simple, citrusy project using the Citrus Crush set by Concord & 9th. I love these simple shapes and always seem to fall back on this clean, colorful design. The hello is from the H2 Hello Die Set.
The real star of the show is the gorgeous Concord & 9th cardstock. Here is a quick reel showing how easy it is to make this card. Watch till the end to see a guest appearance by my trusty sidekick, Hank!
Here is a video showing how I created these cards.

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a card using some die cut scraps that I’ve had laying around. When I do reveal videos for Simon Says Stamp I often have several die cut samples left over in piles that just lay there for months. They are too pretty to throw away, but I often don’t take time to use them. Today I finally did it! I used my scraps. It makes you feel so nifty and thrifty, lol.
The blooms are from the Aurora Blooms die set. This is such a gorgeous floral die set. I also had a couple of leaf die cuts from the Leafy Sprig that worked perfectly. I used a couple of enamel dots for the centers. For the frame I used a die cut from the Daisy Oval Frame. For the sentiment I embossed the “miss you” in gold onto white from the CZ Hi There Greetings.
I love how this came together from leftovers. Somehow it makes me feel like I’ve just saved money. Should I go buy myself something know, ha ha. Isn’t that what they call “girl math”? That’s what my daughters tell me. I need an interpreter! Thanks so much for stopping by!
