Celebrate You Release
May 14, 2019
Hi there! The Celebrate You Release by Simon Says Stamp is live and loaded with lots of fun new products! I have a couple of projects to share.
This card uses the adorable Peeking Frog die. I adhered strips of solid colored cardstock behind the die cut. I added some googly eyes and free-hand cut a little party hat with a teeny pom pom on top.
The sentiments for both cards are from the Stop Drop and Party stamp set by CZ Designs.
This card uses the Peeking Daisy. I added the strips of solid colored cardstock horizontally this time and popped up the daisy die cut over top.
Check out the Simon Says Stamp blog to see more about this fun new Celebrate You release. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Happy Mother’s Day
May 12, 2019Hello there and Happy Mother’s Day to everyone! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog featuring the Outline Floral Mom die along with a sentiment from one of the Sentiment Strips printables. Check out the video to see how I created this project HERE.
Today my family surprised my mom and I with a very special Mother’s Day lunch. The kids cleaned the house and decorated the dining room. They bought flowers, cookies and brownies from Panera. You can see my messy craft station in the background. It’s never clean. That’s a big roll of foam tape leaning up against the clock in case you were wondering. It’s pretty much a hot mess. I’m so thankful for my mom and that we can spend this day with her. Have I ever told you that my mom was the one who got me into card making? She invited me to a Stampin’ Up party. Yep, the rest is history!
Part of the feast was a huge tray of McDonalds french fries. They knocked it outta the park, I tell ya!!! I was in heaven. They get me. Also, this is my Target cardigan that I wear just about every single day of my life. If you’ve every watched my videos you’ve probably seen it. It’s like my security blanket.
I’m so thankful for this crazy crew of mine who made me a momma. They keep my days and my heart extremely full at all times.
Thank you so much for stopping by my little old blog time and time again and for your many encouraging words. Sending hugs to you today❤️

Pinkfresh Studio April Release Blog Hop
April 29, 2019
Hi there! Today I’m joining Pinkfresh Studio for their April Release Blog Hop!
My first project features the adorable Jar Full of Heart die.
I die cut the Jar of Hearts on Bristol paper and painted the die cut with Zig Clean Color Markers. I mounted the die cut onto a panel that was blended with Distress Oxide inks and splattered with liquid watercolors, water & white acrylic ink. For the sentiment I used Blooming Bouquet.
This next project features one of the Leafy Wreaths dies.
I used Distress Oxide inks to blend color on the Leafy Wreath die cut as well as the background panel. For the background panel I added splatters of water, liquid watercolor & acrylic ink. I used the Blooming Bouquet stamp set for the sentiment as well on this card. For embellishment I added some Nuvo Jewel Drops onto the wreath.
