Hi there! Laura here and today I’m excited to join Honey Bee Stamps for their Twelve Days of Christmas event! I have a festive red door shape card featuring the Threshold Card-Honey Cuts.I love all the details that these dies give the door from the molding to the fancy doorknob. There’s even a fun word die included. It’s a great die set, and what I love most is that you don’t have to think too much. You just die cut all the pieces and adhere them together! You can customize the door for any season or occasion.

Gina K. class at The Paper Forest

Hi there! Today I have something a little different than usual, but my local paper crafting store is hosting a couple of super fun classes this weekend, taught by the one and only, Gina K.! How exciting is that? I thought I’d just post it here for any locals that might be interested.
So the shop is called The Paper Forest and they are hosting Gina K. this weekend. Gina is going to be making some Holiday Tags, a gift card holder and some last minute cards that sparkle.

About the class: The class is $60, 20 open seats for each of the sessions, classes are almost full! We may be able to add a few more. It will be the same class each session and all participants get an exclusive Gina K stamp set!

DieCember® Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for their DieCember® release blog hop. I have a colorful project to share using a couple of the fun new dies from the DieCember® release.
My project features the Spinning Circle die. I die cut eight different solid colored cardstocks, which allows you to make eight rainbow spinning circles. Ofcourse you could do any color combination that floats your boat. I’ve just been dying to try this with rainbow colors.
For the sentiment I used the You’re the Best die with White Glitter Cardstock and backed it with Island Blue.Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.

Hello & Happy DieCember®! Simon Says Stamp just released a super fun & festive DieCember® collection. Around 44 fantastic new dies. I’ve been crankin’ my Big Shot like nobody’s bizzz! My arms are gonna be so fit for the holiday, ha!I’ve got a couple of projects to share with you today featuring some of the new DieCember® goodies. This card features the Santa Cat & Santa Pup dies. I framed them using the largest Stitched Ovals dies and added a sentiment from Coolest Yulest. The plaid background paper is by Lawn Fawn. I also added some highlights to the eyes using a gel pen.
Next up, my favorite this besides a rainbow or a shaker card is a shape card. This one is perfectly pandastic!
I used the Big Picture Book Panda die along with the Big Picture Book Medium body. I traced the outline of the head and body todether to make a simple card base and adhered everything to the base. Believe me when I tell you I scrounged my house like a mad woman to find something adorably delicious to tuck inside his hands, but came up with nothing! So a cute little puffy gold sticker it was. I think a mini candy cane would be perfection for this, too!
For the inside of the shape card I stamped a sentiment from Punny Animals. Oh, and by the way I found the perfect way to add a subtle rosy cheek to these picture book animals. I used a Detail Blending tool with Spun Sugar ink and it worked like a charm!

Christmas Tree Stitching

Hi there! Today I have such a super simple & sweet holiday card to share with you.I used the Christmas Tree Stitching die and threaded some green embroidery floss, adding some random beads that I scrounged up from the bottom of our bead bin.
We have a crafty bead bin bursting with all kinds of cute beads. I had a weak moment a few months ago at my local craft store. I had all the kids with me. I was outnumbered. They talked me into buying a ton of cute beads. I might have started the whole thing. I lose my mind in the craft store. They swore they were gonna make beaded bracelets, sell them on etsy and become millionaires.
Needless to say, we’ve made a few personalized bracelets for gifts and here I am using them on my cards. But seriously, how cute is this? Might be one of my most favorite cards ever! I added a simple embossed sentiment using the Tiny Words Christmas stamp set.
Guess what? I have an extra Christmas Tree Stitching die to give away.

Mama Elephant-Heart in Bloom

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this fun project over on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the Heart in Bloom set.To begin I embossed the large heart image from Heart in Bloom in clear and blended distress inks for the color.
I created a shaker card by using the Heart in Bloom-Creative Cuts to die cut a window opening, backing it with acetate and filling with sequins & confetti.
For some fun on the inside of the card I used the Inside Pop-Box of Fun-Creative Cuts.
I added a sweet image from the Little Bear Agenda set to pop up inside the box.

Hi there! Today I’m joining Erin Lee Creative in a blog hop to promote her awesome new products.To begin I used the Wonky Plaid Stencil and blended distress inks in Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon & Salty Ocean.
I stamped the fun image from Aztec Antlers with Memento ink and colored it with Copics. I added Nuvo Jewel Drops to the ornaments hanging from the antlers.
For the sentiment I used the Can’t stamp set.

Jane’s Doodles-Outdoors

Hi there! Today I’m taking a little break from the holiday card making and sharing a fun project featuring some adorable sets by Jane’s Doodles.This card features the Outdoors stamp set. For the background I blended Distress Oxides in Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire & Forest Moss onto Bristol. I flicked the background with water.
For the images, I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored them with Copics and fussy cut them out. The sentiment is from the Happy Camper stamp set.
I love these sweet, hand-drawn images. We are covered in snow here in Illinois, so this moonlit, cozy campsite looks pretty inviting right about now. Hope you have a great day! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Mama Elephant-Hogs and Kisses

Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Hogs and Kisses stamps set.For the background I used the Hillside Cover die and masked off the hills, blending each one with distress inks.I stamped the images from Hog and Kisses with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics. I added a sentiment using the “hugs” word die from the Tri Window Cover die set. I also embossed a coordinating sentiment from Hog and Kisses.

Peaceful Christmas Limited Edition Tag Kit

Hi there! Simon Says Stamp has just released a super fun Cyber Monday surprise, the Peaceful Christmas Limited Edition Tag Kit! I’ve created a couple of projects using the contents of this amazing kit to share.
This first card features the Wreath Tag die. I die cut the wreath part with Midnight Green cardstock and the bow with Lipstick Red cardstock. I popped the assembled tag onto some gorgeous gingham pattern paper by My Mind’s Eye(included in the kit). To finish it off I added an embossed sentiment from Peaceful Christmas along with a few “berries” using Nuvo Postbox Red Vintage Drops.
This next card features the Snowflake Tag die.
I die cut the snowflake out of white glitter cardstock and mounted it onto a Sea Glass tag and then onto an Island Blue panel. I embossed a sentiment from Peaceful Christmas onto Lipstick Red cardstock.
