Waffle Flower August Release Blog Hop
August 5, 2018
Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Waffle Flower for their August release blog hop. This is such a fun release full of products to help you swatch, experiment, practice or even play with your various color mediums.
I had fun playing with the Color Swatches stamp set and used it to create this colorful background grid. I stamped the row of squares repeatedly and painted each square using distress inks. I layered the Lacy Flower die over the painted background and added a sentiment from the new Adventures stamp set.
I also created a small swatch chart of my most used distress ink cubes. This is just a small chart, but you could easily stamp the swatch images three times on a larger piece of watercolor paper and swatch as many as 72 colors. Swatch charts are a feast for the eyes, aren’t they?
Here’s a video to show you how I created these projects.
GIVEAWAY!
To celebrate the blog hop, Waffle Flower is giving away $25 gift certificates to THREE lucky winners. Leave comments along the hop by 11:59pm ET on 8/12/18 for your chances to win. Winners will be chosen at random from the comments left on any of the posts on this blog hop and will be announced on the Waffle Flower blog on 8/15/2018.

Gina K Designs-Wreath Builder
August 2, 2018Hi there! Today I have a couple of projects to share with you featuring the Gina K Designs Wreath Builder Stencil.
I’ve been dying to try a few geometric shapes with this Wreath Builder stencil. I used shapes from the Perfect Shapes & Grid Play stamp set. I also used some delicious ink cubes from Gina K Design 2108 Add-On Collection.
For the sentiments I used CZ Design Love You & Hellos dies. I popped up the panels onto some matching Gina K Designs cardstock, also from her 2018 Add-On Collection.
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.

So Grateful for You
July 31, 2018Hi there! Today I’m sharing another project using some of the fun new products from the Friendly Frolic release by Simon Says Stamp.
To begin I blended distress inks onto bristol paper. Then I took a few of the Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors and flicked Key Lime over the Twisted Citron, Aquamarine over the Mermaid Lagoon and Sapphire over the Blueprint Sketch. I love how this turned out. I die cut these ink blended panels using the Leafy Frame die, creating two leafy frames to layer.
For the sentiment I used the Uplifting Sentiments. Then I flicked Licorice watercolor over the white card base. I adhered the green leafy frame panel flat onto the card base and popped up the blue leafy framed panel with foam tape for dimension. To finish it off I added a few sequins in like colors using the Chameleon & Pool Party sequin mixes.
That’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Pom Pom Heaven!
July 23, 2018Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of fun projects using the awesome Birthday Bash Kit by Queen & Co. I fell head over heels in love with this kit as soon as I saw the pom poms!!! So many pom poms in three different sizes and in rainbow colors, too!
So I’ve created two clean and simple birthday cards using the kit.
For this first card I die cut an oval frame using one of the Stitched Oval dies and then stamped a sentiment from the stamp set included in the Birthday Bash Kit. Then using glossy accents, I adhered mini pom poms around the oval frame. So simple, yet perfect as can possibly be!
This next card was inspired by one I saw on the inspiration sheet that was included in the kit.
I die cut the ice cream cone using one of the dies that is included in the kit and then adhered the pom poms to create a three scoop ice cream cone WITH a cherry on top! Seriously, I can’t even with these pom poms!
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.
Hope you enjoyed! Thanks so much for stopping by!
