Mama Elephant-Creativity is Contagious

Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Creativity is Contagious set.I embossed the large scripty sentiment in clear onto Arches watercolor paper. Then I painted over the embossed sentiment using Pinkfresh Studio liquid watercolors (yes, I’m definitely addicted:) I stamped the large sentiment again using Salty Ocean to add the shadow.
I die cut the entire panel with the largest of the Basic Rectangle dies to add the faux stitching edge and added a coordinating embossed sentiment along with a few sequins.

Today is the Greatest

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of projects featuring the fun new Good Vibes stamp set from the awesome new Good Vibes release by Simon Says Stamp.For the backgrounds I used Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors on Arches Cold Pressed Watercolor Paper. If you’re wondering how I painted these backgrounds, check out this video.
I embossed this fun image from Good Vibes over the gradient painted backgrounds.
I embossed the fun “peace-sign fingers” on a Metallic Schoolhouse Red envelope to coordinating with the card.
I think this card would work great for a birthday, graduation or many other types of celebratory occasions. Everyone needs some good vibes now and then, don’t ya think? Thanks so much for stopping by!

Mama Elephant-Garden Frame

Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Garden Frame set.To begin I embossed the Garden Frame in clear and blended distress inks for the color.
I created a sort of unique shaker using one of the Basic Rectangles for the frame. I embossed the sentiment from Garden Frame and filled the shaker with Heart Confetti and Flamingo sequins.

Good Vibes Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for Day 2 of their Good Vibes release blog hop.
My project features the Center Cut Geometric Background stamp along with the Dude word dies.
I embossed the center circle image from the Center Cut Geometric stamp in clear and then blended Simon Says Stamp inks for the color.

Mama Elephant-Good Reads

Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Good Reads set.I created a set of cutie patootie bookmarks using the Bookmark It-Creative Cuts.
I used the Book Buddies-Bear & Dog-Creative Cuts to create the dogs & panda. I embossed the sentiments from Good Reads in white and die cut them out using the speech bubble die from the Bookmark It-Creative Cuts.

My project features the Garden Frame stamp & die set. Mama Elephant-Garden Frame

For the background I adhered several strips of solid colored cardstock onto a panel and then ran the panel through with one of the Basic Rectangle dies.

I colored the Garden Frame with Copics and used the Garden Frame coordinating creative cuts to die cut the window opening for the sentiment. I also used a white gel pen to add a few highlights to the flowers.

I’ve created a project featuring the Oceans of Love stamp set.
To begin I used the Bubble Waves Stencil for the background, blending Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon & Cracked Pistachio.
I colored the adorable Oceans of Love images with Copics. The sentiment is also from the Oceans of Love set.

Altenew June 2018 Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m honored to be joining Altenew for their June release blog hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from Anna Komenda’s blog.
My first project features the Moroccan Mosaic Background stamp set. I embossed the design in clear and blended Minty Mint, Sweet Leaf, Aqualicious and Teal Cave for the color. For the large “E” I used one of the fun new Logo Mega Alpha dies and then added a coordinating embossed sentiment from the Leaf Canopy set. You know what? I’ve already given this card away! I customized it with the first letter of the girl who we gave it to for a graduation card.
For this next card I used the Pinstripe stamp set.I embossed the stripes in clear and blended Citrus Burst and Fresh Lemon ink for the color. I stamped the Leaf Canopy images using a mixture of Minty Mint, Dew Drops & Aqualicious for a soft gradient look. For the sentiment I used the Pinstripe stamp set.
My last card features the Cherished Memories stamp set.
To begin I stamped the Moroccan Mosaic background in cream onto cream cardstock for a soft, tone on tone look. Then I embossed the floral images from Cherished Memories in clear and blended Pink Pearl & Coral Bliss on one bloom, Citrus Burst & Orange Cream on the other bloom and Minty Mint & Sweet Leaf on the leaves.
