Hi there! Poppin’ in to share a couple of projects created using some new goodies by WPlus9. These are featuring the gorgeous Trellis Background 1 & 2 dies along with the new Happy Birthday die.
For this first card I layered the Trellis Background 1 & 2 die cuts using Aqua Mist & Hawaiian Shores cardstock. I blended Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick & Picked Raspberry on the birthday die cut.
I did the same thing with this next card but used different colors. I layered Hibiscus Burst & Raspberry Fizz cardstock and blended Cracked Pistachio & Peacock Feathers on the birthday die cut. I embellished both cards with clear round drops.
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.
Make sure and check out the fantastic, new May release over at WPlus9! Thanks so much for stopping by!
SSS-Hex Yeah
May 25, 2018Hi there! I have a sneak of another project I’ve created using the Hex Yeah set. I just love this set so much and can’t seem to put it down. I thought it would be fun to make a hexagon shaker using one of the hexagon dies.
You can check out the full project and video over on the Simon Says Stamp blog. Thanks so much for stopping by!
SSS-Rad Grad
May 23, 2018Hi there! ‘Tis the season for graduation card making. We are in the thick of it here with our children being of age to have many graduation friends. I’ve created a couple of cards using the Rad Grad set.
It’s no secret that I love every single one of CZ Designs, and she nailed it with this Rad Grad graduation set. I embossed the bold Rad Grad sentiment in clear and blended over with distress inks. I LOVE that many of the sentiments have coordinating dies.
Shakers just make everthing a celebration, don’t ya think? I used one of the Basic Rectangle dies to create a shaker window onto Fog cardstock.
I filled the shakers with some Pretty Pink Posh sequins & star confetti. I also added a graduation cap above the bold sentiment that is also from the Rad Grad set.
I’d love to pick your brain on a few questions I’ve been pondering concerning graduation parties. How much money do you give a graduate: 8th grade, high school, college? I mean, what’s the going rate these days? Also, and more importantly, how do I refrain from eating cake and meatballs at every single party? Thanks so much for stopping by!
Mama Elephant-Oh Happy Day
May 22, 2018Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the Oh Happy Day stamp set.
For the background I smooshed distress oxide inks using Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade & Squeezed Lemonade. Then I embossed the large scripty sentiment from Oh Happy Day in Liquid Platinum.
I created a shaker card using one of the Framed Tags-Lafayette Creative Cuts. I die cut the frame onto white glitter cardstock and backed it with acetate. Then I filled the shaker with iridescent stars, hearts & silver star confetti. I also added a few images from She’s So Lovely and embossed another coordinating sentiment from Oh Happy Day in white onto Slate cardstock.
You can check out more inspiration using the Oh Happy Day set over on the Mama Elephant blog. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Mama Elephant-Animal Parade
May 21, 2018Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the adorable Animal Parade set.
For the background I used the All Prettied Up-Creative Cut and blended distress inks for a subtle background.
I stamped the images with Memento ink, colored them with Copics, used the coordinating dies to cut them out and then popped them up with foam tape. I also added some enamel accents to the penguin’s juggling balls.

Mama Elephant-She’s So Lovely
May 18, 2018Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the She’s So Lovely set.
I created four small windows to frame these sweet images from She’s So Lovely. To make the small windows I used one of rectangle dies from the Little Agenda Frames-Creative Cuts set on some Pinkfresh Studio pattern paper.
I colored the images with Copics and embossed a sentiment also from She’s So Lovely. To finish it off I added some colorful sequins.

I did a little ink smooshing using distress inks and then embossed the hexagons in white. I popped them up onto a white card base, added a sentiment from Hex Yeah and finished it off with a few Pool Party & Crystal Reflections sequins.
Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.

Mama Elephant-Donut Treats
May 17, 2018Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the adorable Donut Treats set.
It’s funny how cute these little mice are all over the donuts because in real life this would be an udder disaster of a situation, right? I colored the images with Copics and blended some subtle distress inks on the background.
I used one of the Basic Rectangle-Creative Cuts to die cut the panel and pop it up over the pattern paper. Then I added an embossed sentiment from Donut Treats.
Check out the Mama Elephant blog to see more projects showcasing the Donut Treats set. Thanks so much for stopping by!

May 15, 2018
Welcome to the Mama Elephant Design Team blog hop! Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store! www.mamaelephant.com
My project features the adorable new She’s So Lovely stamp set.
For the background I used the Hillside Cover-Creative Cut. For the color I blended distress inks, masking off the sides with post-it tape as well as a few flicks of water.
I colored the images with Copics and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I embossed a sentiment from She’s So Lovely in white onto a strip of black cardstock.
