Friends Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m joining Simon Says Stamp for a Friends release blog hop. This is the second day so be sure and check out Day 1 for more amazing inspiration showcasing the Friends release.
I have a couple of projects featuring the Cosmo & Mum Flower Frame dies.
I blended distress inks on the background of each card using distress & oxide inks.
I embossed the sentiments in white onto a strip of black cardstock using the Many Thanks stamp set.

Altenew January 2018 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m happy to be joining Altenew for their January Release Blog Hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from Kristina Pokazanieva’s blog. I have a couple of projects to share using a few of the new January release products.For my first card I used the Cube Cover die for the background. I adhered strips of solid colored cardstock behind the white Cube Cover die cut.For the sentiment I used the Caps Bold Alphabet dies and added a sentiment from the Hug Me stamp set.My next card features the Shattered Triangle die set. I think you already know how I feel about triangles, right? They are the love of my life:) I die cut several with solid colored cardstock and layered the “shattered” looking triangle die cuts over top of a few for a fantastic tone on tone textured look.For the sentiment I used the Simple Alphabet dies to spell out a simple thanks. Loving this simple and smaller font size.Prizes:

Pretty Pink Posh Turns 4!

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Pretty Pink Posh for Day 1 of their 4th birthday celebration blog hop! I have a couple of projects to share featuring a few of the new January release products.For my first card I used adorable Birthday Friends stamp set along with the coordinating dies.
I used one of the Stitched Borders 1 dies to create the background, blending distress inks onto each “hill”. The images were colored with Copics and popped up with foam tape.
This next card features the Love Shaker die.For the background I used the Pretty Petunias stamp set and embossed in the images in clear and blended distress inks over for a dreamy, soft look. I die cut the Love Shaker die with White Glitter Cardstock and filled the shake with the new Iridescent Heart Confetti Mix.I couldn’t get enough of that gorgeous Love Shaker die so I created one more, very clean and simple card using it.I simply adhered half inch strips of solid colored cardstock onto a 3.5 x 5″ cardbase and popped up the positive parts of the Love Shaker die. I really love how it gives you a totally different, modern look using the positive parts instead of the negative.No party would be complete without guests, gifts and a party favor, right? Holiday Faves & Winners

Hi there! Today I thought I would do something a little different than my usual. I thought I would share a few favorite little gifts I received from the holidays. I did this a few years back and people seemed to enjoy it. I know I always love to see what people get and are loving. First up…Amazing Grace Whipped Body Crème. My mom gave me this and it is amazing! I’ve been wearing Amazing Grace perfume for years and this has the same beautiful scent. It’s thick and creamy and perfection.Next is this “knock my socks off” beautiful Mud Pie butter dish. I bet you’d never guess that I LOVE butter dishes, ha! I have a few pretty ones that I use, but this one with it’s delicious glass knob just makes my heart go pitter patter💗This was another thoughtful gift from my mom:)
Ok, this next little number never leaves my purse. My sweet friend, Wida, gave me some of this NYX Butter Gloss a while ago and I used it all up. My sweet daughter surprised me with a new one for Christmas. The color I have is Crème Brûlée. It’s the perfect “go with everything” shade with a little bit of shine and the price can’t be beat. There are many other colors that I’d love to try someday, too.So you probably didn’t know that I love butter dishes and lip glosses, but I bet you DID know that I love chocolate, right? I don’t just love chocolate. I LOVVVVE chocolate, but not just any chocolate. Mama likes dark chocolate. I’ve never been a big caramel type of gal, but this pretty little box had an assortment and I tried the Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel and then I died and went to heaven. Only one problem. There were only three of those in the box. Man, oh man, oh man!
Next up, another thing that I love. I guess you could say that I love a lot of things. Is that good or bad? I love fun socks. Look at these pretty socks from the Loft with fun patterns & pretty colors. I especially love the ones on top with the skiers.
This next gift was a really special surprise from one of my design teams. Isn’t this jewelry box so pretty with my name etched into it? I would have never bought something like this for myself and everytime I look at it I just smile and am touched by the thoughtfulness of others.

Are you enjoying this or wishing I would just shut up and share a card with you:) Ok, the last gift I have to share with you is this amazing print given to me by another one of my design teams. Yes, card makers really are the best of the best. This gorgeous print is by one of my new favorite artists, Helen Dardik. I absolutely love her effortless, colorful and truly unique style. If you don’t already, you should check out her feed on Instagram. Watching her paint is such a treat.

I have a fun little New Years project that I created using the Simple Numbers dies by Simon Says Stamp. I used my Silhouette to create the little rectangle windows and backed each number with colored cardstock.
I made a fun, slider feature so that you can pull & reveal the “8” for “2018”. I added an embossed sentiment using the Jumbo Stripes stamp set.

Altenew-Fantasy Floral 3D Die

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Altenew blog featuring the Fantasy Floral 3D die set.
For the background I used the Watercolor Stripes Stencil and blended Mountain Mist, Volcano Lake, Tide Blue & Sapphire ink for a nice, gradient effect.
I die cut several shades of colored cardsotck with the Fantasy Floral 3D die set. I blended some Pinkalicious ink on the edges of the flower. For the sentiment I used the ‘hello’ from the Flower Arrangement die set.

Season’s Greetings

Hi there! It’s almost Christmas! Ahhhh…I need like another week to get my act together. My back is killing me from sitting on the floor and wrapping presents, ha! I’m getting too old for this stuff! Just popping in to share a quick & simple christmas card that I made the other day using the Christmas Trees dies by Simon Says Stamp.I die cut several trees out of solid colored cardstock and also some December Days pattern paper by Pinkfresh Studio.
I stitched the trees on with my sewing machine and silver thread and added a sentiment from the Coolest Yulest stamp set. This stamp set has been one of my most used sets this season. I just love it!
