Mama Elephant-Whimsical Winter

Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the adorable Whimsical Winter stamp set.I adore these images! I simpy stamped them with Memento ink, colored them with Copics and used the coordinating dies to cut them out and pop them up onto my card base. I did blend some very light Mama Elephant pigment ink on the background for a subtle ground & sky.

Mama Elephant-So Many Snowmen

Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the So Many Snowmen stamp set.
I stamped the images with Memento ink and colored them with Copics. I added some Wink of Stella for shimmer and used the coordinating die to cut the image out and pop it up onto my card base. For the sentiment I adhered several die cuts together with spray adhesive and topped it off with Glitter cardstock.

Spellbinders October 2017 Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Spellbinders for their October blog hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from Seth Apter’s blog. I have a project featuring the beautiful Little Plants Etched dies. I blended several distress inks onto Bristol paper and then die cut it using the Little Plants Etched dies.I flicked some black acrylic paint onto the background and embossed a sentiment from the Scripted stamp set by Papertrey Ink.

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Design Team blog hop!

Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store!

My project features the adorable new So Many Snowment stamp set.

I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo ink and colored them with Copics. I used my colorless blender to add the dots for snow and a bit of clear Wink of Stella to the hats for shimmer.

Card Making Therapy Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m honored to join Amanda Korotkova from The Crafty Pill for her Card Making Therapy Blog Hop!I have a project to share featuring more new release goodies from the Making Spirits Bright release by Simon Says Stamp. My project features the adorable Picture Book Snowman, Santa & Deer dies as well as a sentiment from the Merry and Bright stamp set.
For the background I die cut three circular window openings using the Nested Circle dies and blended distress inks for color.Here’s a video to show you how I made this card.

Making Spirits Bright Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for their Making Spirits Bright release blog hop!
My project features a few of the new release products: Fa La La stamp & die set & the Pine Needles Border die.
For the background I blended Distress Oxide inks in Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade and then used my regular Squeezed Lemonade distress ink.
For the Pine Needles Borders, I blended Twisted Citron & Lucky Clove Oxide inks and then went over it with my Wink of Stella pen. I also added an embossed sentiment from the Fa La La stamp set.

Wednesday Sketch Challenge – Sketch 354

Hi there! I’m back with another Sketch Challenge for My Favorite Things.This week I flipped the sketch upside down. I’m hoping that’s no against the rules, but I liked it better that way:)

To make the window opening I use one of the Stitched Rectangles dies and blended distress inks behind using Blueprint Sketch & Mermaid Lagoon.
For the sweet images I used the Polar Pals set and for the sentiment I used Snowglobe Sentiments.

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project over on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the Favor Bag Accessories-Snow Deer dies along with the Puffy Holiday Greetings stamp set. It’s Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer & Frosty the Snowman!!!You can mix and match the Favor Bag Accessories dies giving you lots of options. I added a santa hat to the snowman using the Favor Bag Accessories-Santa Elf. The sentiment from Puffy Holiday Greetings.I added glossy accents to the noses and used pattern paper for the bow ties. I also added a dot of white get pen to the eyes and some very light pink Copic marker for the cheeks.Want to wish all my lovely Canadian friends a very Happy Thanksgiving today! Winnie & Walter World Cardmaking Day 2017 Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Winnie & Walter for their World Card Making Day Blog Hop!I’ve created a couple of projects featuring the Scenery: Pattern of the Rings Creative Screenings.
I created this overlapping, layered look by using the stencil three times, placing it in a different spot each time and blending with a different color of distress ink.
For the sentiments I used the In a Word: Birthday Tiles Cutaways.

Wednesday Sketch Challenge – Sketch 353

Hi there! This month I’m honored to join My Favorite Things for their Wednesday Sketch challenges.My card layout was based off of this month’s sketch(below). I also featured several of the fun new October release products.
I normally struggle with sketch challenges, but the new Happy Holidays Circle Frame die was the perfect jumping point to go along with this sketch.I blended distress inks in the window opening and added the sweet penguin image from the Polar Pals set along with a coordinating embossed sentiment from Snow Globe Sentiments.Feel free to play along with this week’s sketch challenge for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to MFT!
