One of a Kind Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for their One of a Kind Release blog hop. Such a fantastic new release with some really adorable new products. You can check out the new release HERE.I’ve created a couple of cutie patootie bookmark cards featuring the Picture Book Bear & Fox die.
I started by using the 3 Sided Scallop die to create my scalloped card. I die cut the base with white cardstock and another panel with cream, using one of the Nested Circle dies to make a window opening for the Fox.
I used both the Picture Book Fox & Bear dies to create little magnet bookmarks and tucked them inside the window opening. How cute are these? I’m in love with these sweet critters and need a cat, dog and definitely a monkey, too:)

Waffle Flower Crafts-Hey Girl

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Waffle Flower Crafts blog featuring the adorable Hey Girl set.I love this hilarious sloth image and did some fancy schmancy partial die-cutting to allow him to hand suspended inside the oval window.
All of the images are color with Copics. I added some plaid Lawn Fawn pattern paper on the background and added sentiments from both Hey Girl and Congrats.Here’s a video to show how I made this card.

Colorful Backgrounds with Stencils

Hi there! Today I’m sharing these projects over on the Altenew blog featuring more colorful stenciled backgrounds.This first card uses the gorgeous Cube Builder stencil. I had so many questions about how to make the rainbow background using the Cube Builder stencil that I made a video to show you how easy it is.
I added a sentiment from the Simple Flowers stamp set along with a few Sparkling Clear Sequins.This next card features the Grid Stencil. I used some gorgeous Altenew inks on both of my projects.The images & sentiment are from the Baby Zoo set.

My project features several new fun products. For the background I used the Grid Window die. I die cut some cream card stock and popped it up onto a white card base.

SSS-2017 July Card Kit

Hello there! Today I have a couple of cards to share featuring the latest July 2017 Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp called Summer Hello.For this card I used the fun Bikini die along with several pieces of the Echo Park pattern paper included in the kit.
The sentiments for both cards are from the SEA You Soon stamp set, also included in the kit.
The Summer Hello card kit comes with a package of double sided foam strips along with Moonshine Confetti which are perfect for making fun shaker cards. Altenew Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Altenew for their June release blog hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived from Erum Tasneem’s blog.
I have a couple of projects to share featuring two of the gorgeous new stencils. This first card showcases the Graffiti Scribble Stencil. To create the background I blended in Arctic, Caribbean, Persian Blue & Sapphire ink over the Graffiti Scribble Stencil.
I added some bright yellow blooms using the Azalea stamp set & coordinating dies. Then I embossed a sentiment from the Sentiments & Quotes stamp set.
This next card features the amazing Cube Builder Stencil. Literally, I’ve died and gone to Cube Builder Heaven!!! I used several Altenew inks to create this rainbow cube background.
For the sentiment I used the Happy Birthday die and added a few sparkling clear sequins.

Hello from Me to You

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Neat & Tangled blog. I used a couple of Christmas themed stamp sets to create a very non-Christmas-sy card.For the background I stamped the solid triangle image from Scandinavian Prints Christmas repeatedly using Mama Elephant pigment inks. Using a MISTI helped me to get perfectly consistent spacing & alignment. Don’t you just love colorful triangle backgrounds? They make my world go ’round.
For the sentiment I used the Journaling Alpha dies and added an embossed sentiment from Happy Holidays. I also added a few clear droplets to finish it off.

Purple Onion Designs-Happy Trails

Hi there! Today I have a couple of projects showcasing the adorably sweet release by Purple Onion Designs called Happy Trails.
This first card features a few stamps: Free Spirits, Buddy, Smokey & Journey Sentiment Set. I colored the images with Copics and blended the background with distress inks. I can’t get over these sweet images!
This next project features the VW Bus & Journey Sentiment Set.
I created a partially die cut window to frame the cute Bus using a Stitched Oval die with some pattern paper in the background.
Just wanted to make mention that these are unmounted red rubber stamps, not clear acrylic. They stamp beautifully, but require an extra step to make them cling. More information on that HERE. Mama Elephant-Celebration Balloons

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this fun project featuring the adorable Celebration Balloons set by Mama Elephant.I paired the cute balloons with the critters from Up and Away. They look so sweet hanging from the balloons, don’t ya think? I colored everything with Copics and added some glossy accents to the balloons.
For the background I blended distress inks onto watercolor cardstock and then die cut the panel out using the Framed Tags-Chelsea Creative Cut. I used a multiliner pen to draw the balloon strings on and my big foam tape roll as a guide to get smooth curved lines.
How cute is that monkey? I mean, the bunny’s cute, too, but the MONKEY, gahhhh….I just love monkeys hanging from rainbow balloons, don’t you? Wishing you a wonderful day! Thanks so much for stopping by!
