Hello there! Today I’m joining Mama Elephant as we highlight the Wishing You stamp set.
To create theĀ background I trimmed several pieces of cardstock into rays and then adhered them onto a piece of scrap cardstock.Ā I ran the whole panel through using one of theĀ Nested Circled dies and embossed the beautiful “wishing you” sentiment in white.
I added another coordinating embossed sentiment from Wishing You along with a few sparkling clear sequins.
Visit the Mama Elephant blog to see more inspiration using this gorgeous Wishing You stamp set. Thanks for stopping by!
SSS-Happy Easter
April 16, 2017Hi there! Just popping in to wish everyone a very Happy Easter!
For this card I embossed Happy Easter sentiment several times in clear creating a background pattern and then masking off rays I blended in distress inks.
I die cut the cross image from He is Risen and added the arched sentiment from Happy Easter. I used the Nested Circle dies to create the arch for the sentiment.
To finish it off I added some Nuvo Jewel drops. These are my latest addiction. I can’t get enough of their translucent sherbert-y color. Sending Easter Blessings your way today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Mothers, Fathers & Florals Release Blog Hop
April 7, 2017
Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp & several talented designers to showcase their new Mothers, Fathers & Florals release.
I was inspired by Kristina Werner’s shaker card here and wanted to try a jumbo version showcasing the Star Flower background cling.
I embossed the Star Flower in clear and blended two inks from the Morning Sun cube setĀ along with Lemon Zing.
I added a sentiment using the Big Mom die along with a coordinating embossed sentiment from Mom and Dad Icon stamp set.
I used a different color combination on this one with High Dive, Mint Candy & Jellybean. The sentiment is from the Big U stamp & die set. I filled both circle shakers with lots of different sequins from Simon Says Stamp & Pretty Pink Posh.
Here’s a video to show you how I created my card.

Mama Elephant-Timeless Tulips
March 31, 2017Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the Timeless Tulips stamp set.
This is what I call my “loosey goosey” watercoloring technique. I am slowly trying to chip away at my fear of watercoloring…hence the “loosey goosey” look:)
I embossed the tulip image in clear onto watercolor cardstock and then painted the image using my distress inks.
Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.
