Welcome to the Mama Elephant Design Team blog hop! Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store!
My project features the Botanical Hello stamp set. I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored it in with Copic markers. I embossed a coordinating sentiment from the Botanical Hello set in white onto a strip of black cardstock. Might have gotten a little heavy handed with the sequins, lol. Sometimes it happens:)
To celebrate the new release, Mama Elephant is picking 3 winners to win their choice of stamp set! Winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs in the Stampede. You have up to 4 chances to qualify to win! » 1. Leave a comment on this blog post «
Each action qualifies for one entry, max 4 entries per stampeder please! Now let’s get on with the Stampede with our amazing designers! Vera Rhuhay Nichol Spohr Pamela Ho Melania Deasy
Hi there! Today I have a project to share featuring the adorable February Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp called “Coffee, Tea & Cocoa”.The star of the show here is the cutie patootie Coffee Love die that comes in the kit. I was inspired by the fun Doodlebug Latte Love stickers that come in the February Card kit and mimicked the colors & design for my die cuts coffee cups, well, mine are actually tea cups, ha ha:) I used the Holiday Shapes die to make the little felt hearts. I also used some Copic markers to make stripes on my coffee cup sleeve as well to add rosy cheeks and some gray for the lids. I mean, seriously, look at the teeny tiny coffee cup arms…can’t take it! Here’s a super quick little video to show you how I made these coffee, I mean, tea cup die cuts:)
Hello there! Today I have a fun Neat & Tangled project to share featuring the Floral Heart stamp set & coordinating die.I combined it with the Say Yes to Donuts set to make a cute birthday card. I embossed the Floral Heart image and blending distress inks for the color…in rainbow order, of course! The trimmed the sentiment from Say Yes to Donuts to make it a two-lined sentiment so that it would fit nicely inside my Floral Heart window and allow for the boy to peep out. Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello there! Today I have a colorful & festive project featuring the Scandinavian Prints Christmas by Neat & Tangled. This set is fantastic! I am loving the geometric images that can be used in a million in one ways and not just for Christmas, but all year long to create awesome patterns and designs. I created a rainbow of trees…are you surprised, ha ha! I just can’t stop!!! I used the MISTI and multi-inked each triangle with two colors. A lighter color on top and a darker color on bottom for a gradient look. I love being able to combine my pigment and my dye inks together to get exactly what I want! I also added some sequins from the Frosted Pine sequin pack. Here’s a video to show you how I made this card.
