My project features the Marine Friends stamps set. For the background I used the Making Waves Cover-Creative Cut and for the sentiment I used the Hello Script-Creative Cut. I blended the background with Distress Oxide inks and flicked with water & Aquamarine Liquid Watercolor. I stamped the images with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto Bristol and colored with Zig Clean Color Markers. I also colored the Hello Script die with Carmine Red.

Mama Elephant-Birdie Wreath
February 27, 2019Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the adorable new Birdie Wreath set.
To begin I stamped several of the images from Birdie Wreath as well as the banner image from Hippity Hop and colored them with Copics. Then I used the coordinating creative cuts to die them out.
For the background I blended Distress Oxides in Spun Sugar, Wild Honey & Squeezed Lemonade onto Neenah Solar White cardstock. Then I used foam tape to pop up the images over the ink blended background.
I added some Nuvo Jewel Drops in Rose Water, Orange Marmalade & Limoncello here and there for accents. Those Nuvo Drops are dangerous. Once you get started, it’s almost impossible to stop!
I think this would make a perfect wedding or even baby card. Hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Pretty Pink Posh-5th Birthday Celebration
January 10, 2019Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Pretty Pink Posh for their 5th Birthday Celebration! I have a couple of projects featuring their new January release goodies!
My first card showcases the gorgeous With Love Shaker Die.
For the background I blended distress oxide inks in Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry & Wilted Violet. I flicked the same distress inks as well by smoothing a bit of the ink onto an acrylic block and picking it up with a wet brush to flick it. I also added a few flicks of white acrylic ink. I popped the With Love Shaker die cut over the blended background and adhered a few jewels from the Valentines Jewels Mix. To finish it off I clipped a silk ribbon tied in a bow.
This next project using the super festive Piñata Party stamp & die set.
I stamped the confetti images onto the background and then created a circle window to hide the hanging twine that holds the adorable piñata. I colored all the images with Copics. This set is so fun!
GIVEAWAY!
Pretty Pink Posh is giving away 9 $25 gift certificates to those NINE people who comment during the blog hop. Plus, we are giving away a not-yet-released set for qualifying purchases, while supplies last!

Jane’s Doodles-Outdoors
November 27, 2018Hi there! Today I’m taking a little break from the holiday card making and sharing a fun project featuring some adorable sets by Jane’s Doodles. This card features the Outdoors stamp set. For the background I blended Distress Oxides in Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire & Forest Moss onto Bristol. I flicked the background with water.
For the images, I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored them with Copics and fussy cut them out. The sentiment is from the Happy Camper stamp set.
I love these sweet, hand-drawn images. We are covered in snow here in Illinois, so this moonlit, cozy campsite looks pretty inviting right about now. Hope you have a great day! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Pretty Pink Posh November Blog Hop
November 16, 2018Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Pretty Pink Posh for Day 2 of their November release.
My first project features the Layered Tree Die. This card is so simple, which are usually my favorites) and yet it makes me giddy with the rainbow pom poms.
I die cut the layered of the tree using three shades of green cardstock: Limeade Ice, Simply Chartreuse & Ripe Avocado. To make the bottom layer darker, I die cut Ripe Avocado cardstock and blended Forest Moss Oxide ink onto it. I threaded some mini pom poms(bought at hobby lobby) onto white thread to decorate the tree. A few pom poms are secured with glossy accents. For the sentiment I used the Caroling Critters stamp set.
This next card uses the Tree Shaker Die.I trimmed strips of solid colored cardstock and adhered them onto an angle. I die cut three trees using the Tree Shaker die and adhered them together with spray adhesive to add dimension. I also embossed a coordinating sentiment using the Caroling Critters set.
GIVEAWAY!
Pretty Pink Posh is giving away 4 $25 gift certificates (two winners each day).
Winners will be picked randomly along the blog hop.
Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PDT on 11/20/2018.
