You Mean the World To Me Card Kit

Hi there! Today I’m sharing three card ideas using the Limited Edition You Mean the World to Me Card Kit over on the Simon Says Stamp blog.

SSS-Layering Butterfly Stencil

This first card features the Layering Butterfly Stencil Set included in the kit along with a Heidi Swapp Circle Gem for embellishment and a Tim Holtz Idea-ology Sentiments Label stickers for the sentiment. All of these things are included in the kit.

SSS-You Mean the World to Me

My second card uses the You Mean the World to Me die on vellum and a background panel of Paige Evans Splendid Patterned Paper included in the kit.

SSS-Flower Bundle, Better with Mom

My last card uses the Flower Bundle die included in the kit along with a sentiment from the Better with Mom stamp set.

Whimsical Spring Flowers

Stained Glass Bird

Hi there! Today I had the honor of joining Heidi, the owner of Simon Says Stamp, for a YouTube live featuring products from the latest Hello Gorgeous Release.

SSS-Stained Glass Bird, Olive Leaves, Reverse Foundations Sentiment Strips

I created a project on the live featuring the Stained Glass Bird Stencil & Die. I used several Pawsitively Saturated Inks to blend color on the bird as well as the leaves, which were cut using the Olive Leaves dies.

I used one of the Nested Circle dies to create a circle frame and one of the Reverse Foundations Sentiment Strips for the sentiment.

Waffle Flower April Release Blog Hop

Waffle Flower-Sunburst Foil Plate, Oversized Hugs Foil, Hey There Foil Plate

My first card features the Sunburst Foil Plate. I adhered thick strips of solid colored cardstock to a panel and then foiled the Sunburst with gold foil. I die cut a circle window to create a shaker filled with clear sequins.

For the sentiment I used the new Hey There Foil Plate & coordinating die with gold foil onto white cardstock.

My next card uses the Sunburst Hot Foil Plate again. This time I foiled it onto white cardstock and masked off select angles with scrap paper to blend color using distress inks. I die cut another circle window for a shaker filled with clear confetti.

For the sentiment I used the new Oversized Hugs Foil Plate along with the coordinating die.

I used the Balloon Trio die set to create stencils to blend the balloon images. I stamped the sentiment from the Life is a Party stamp set.

My first card features the Rainbow Floral Washi & Die set.

I created a shaker window using one of the new Nested Circle Dies and for the sentiment I used one of the Fancy Script Words Hot Foil Plate & Coordinating Die.

For this next card I used more of the Rainbow Floral Washi. I created a foiled circle using one of the new Nested Circles Hot Foil Plates.

For the sentiment I used the Dahlia Stamp Set. For embellishment on both cards I added Jewels.

My project featuring the new Happy Day stamp set. I stamped the images with Intense Black Ink and then masked off the images with post-its.

For the background I used the Hearts Stencil with distress inks. I created a shaker window using an oval die and filled it with mini iridescent heart confetti.

Both of my cards feature the Oblique Spheres Stencil Set. For this first card I used the spheres with Seafoam, Surf, Marine & Royal ink.

Both cards used the CZ Spring in My Step stamp & dies for the sentiment and Back to Basic Gem Stickers for embellishemnt.

For this card I used the reverse masks in the Oblique Spheres set with Peony, Carnation, Bubblegum, Melon & Lemonade ink. I added a vellum leaf accent using one of the Olive Leaves dies.
