Hi there! Today I’m joining Altenew for their Storybook Fantasy Blog Hop! If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from the Altenew Card Blog.
These blooms are drop dead gorgeous and so incredibly effortless to create. To begin I used the Book Engravings Stencil to blend the base blooms & leaves. I didn’t stamp the outline of the images, but I stamped the added detail images using darker shades of each base. For the sentiment I used the Sentiments & Quotes stamp set.
$300 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $20 gift certificate to 10 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designerās blog post on the blog hop list below by 03/15/2021 for a chance to win. Altenew will draw 12 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 03/17/2021.
The next stop on the hop is the amaying Jaycee Gaspar!
Hi there! Today I’m joining Pretty Pink Posh for Day 2 of their March release blog hop.
I’ve created two projects using these gorgeous new products. My first card uses the Floral Corners stamp set. I embossed the floral images in clear and blended distress inks for color. I also added a few flicks of added detail using Copic markers.
This next card uses the Pretty Petals Background die. I blended a panel with the same distress inks, adding a few flicks of water, white ink and distress inks. Then I die cut the Pretty Petals Background out of white cardstock as well as the blended panel. I adhered the white panel including all of the inner pieces to a card base and then adhered just the inner pieces from the blended panel on top for a slight bit of dimension.

Hi there! Today I’m rolling into Friday with an adorable stripey bicycle project.
Do you follow me on Instagram? I’ve been dabbling in creating Reels. They are short little videos set to fun music, and I created a Reel with this project.
You can check out the Reel HERE. It’s so short, almost too short. Maybe I should stick to videos so I can take my time and ramble more:) But these are fun to do, too! Wishing you a wonderful weekend!! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hi there! Can you believe today is the last day of February already? Where do the days go? Today I’m sharing another project featuring the Hello Beautiful release by Simon Says Stamp.
For the background I used the Mix & Match Squares Stencil. I blended Pinkfresh Studio inks onto a panel first to lay down a soft base, then I adhered the stencil over top and blended with the same colors with more intensity. I added a few flicks of similar color inks as well as water & white ink over top of the blending for a little texture.
For the bouquet I embossed the outline images from Blooming Meadow in white onto vellum and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. The sentiment is also from Blooming Meadow embossed in white onto black. For embellishment I added a few Raindrops.
You can check out the amazing Hello Beautiful release HERE! I always like to look at the products and check out the examples for each one. It gives me so much inspiration. Thanks so much for stopping by!
I used the MISTI to help me get consistent, even spacing. I used several different shades of Pinkfresh Studio inks to stamp each square a shade darker but in the same color family.
For the sentiment I embossed the Welcome sentiment from the CZ Welcoming set in white onto Slate cardstock. You KNOW I love you when I’m willing to share my fries with youš
I love this Welcoming set because it has so many versatile and humorous sentiments to pair with the larger sentiment.
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.
GIVEAWAY Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $25 coupon to every stop on the hop. Winners will be posted on the Simon Says Stamp blog on Wednesday, the 3rd of March.
