Cutest Blog Hop Ever

Hi there! Last week I shared these cards over on my YouTube channel, but realized that I never shared them here on my blog. I was honored to join Emily Leiphart for her 3rd annual Cutest Blog Hop Ever.

SSS-Floating Leaves Stencil & Etched Laurel Leaves, Pinkfresh Lea's Uppercase & Heather's Lowercase Alpha dies, Mama Elephant-Little Agenda Spaceship, CZ Simple Patterns Trio Stencil

I got the whole family involved in the video hop. I sat them all down and we had a good old fashioned ink blending session:) It was utter chaos, but we did manage to finish two cards out of the bunch. Everyone did really good and created some gorgeous panels.

SSS-Floating Leaves Stencil & Etched Laurel Leaves, Pinkfresh Lea's Uppercase & Heather's Lowercase Alpha dies,

This is Bailey’s card that she created from her ink blended panel. Isn’t is beautiful? She used the Floating Leaves stencil and then added some die cut leaves out of vellum and white from the Etched Laurel Leaves die set. For the sentiment she used Lea’s Uppercase & Heather’s Lowercase alpha dies. She also added a few clear enamel dots for embellishment. This card reminds me Debby Hughes and that is the highest compliment I could ever give Bailey.

SSS-Floating Leaves Stencil & Etched Laurel Leaves, Pinkfresh Lea's Uppercase & Heather's Lowercase Alpha dies,

Emma created this next card. For her blending panel she used one of the CZ Simple Patterns Trio stencil. She was head over heels for the Little Agenda Spaceship set and we made it into a slider for the rocket to slide up and down.

SSS-CZ Simple Patterns Stencil, Mama Elephant- Little Agenda Spaceship

We added an embossed sentiment, also from the Little Agenda Spaceship set.

Here’s the video below if you haven’t already seen it, but I warn you beforehand, it is utter chaos:)

Clearly Besotted STAMPtember® 2020 Exclusive Collaboration

Hi there! I’m back with another adorable STAMPtember® collaboration with Clearly Besotted called Skating By.

Coming from a hockey family who loves to skate on the pond. I have a soft spot for this adorable set.

Clearly Besotted STAMPtember® 2020 Exclusive Collaboration

I stamped the images in Memento and colored with Copics. I die cut a circle window opening onto Apricot cardstock & created a spinner by cutting a track with my craft knife and adhering two pennies with a foam dot in-between for the spinner mechanism. It’s exactly the same as the one I did on this card.

Clearly Besotted STAMPtember® 2020 Exclusive Collaboration

Here’s a quick peek at how the cute little kitty spins. This is exactly what I look like when I try to skate:) Meanwhile the rest of my family skates like they’re going to the olympics.

Check out the Simon Says Stamp blog for more inspiration using this cute new set. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Avery Elle STAMPtember® 2020 Exclusive Collaboration

Hi there! I’m back with the newest STAMPtember® Collaboration with Avery Elle called Holiday Bells.

Avery Elle STAMPtember® 2020 Exclusive Collaboration

I stamped the outline of each bell with black ink and then stamped the solid bells with Pinkfresh Studio inks. I embossed the sentiment in white on black and added some enamel dots that I bought at my local dollar store.

Avery Elle STAMPtember® 2020 Exclusive Collaboration

Now that I look at this card I’m thinking the bells look like they are just floating in mid air. I’m not sure what I was thinking. I was probably thinking how can I cram as much rainbow into these bells as humanly possible. That’s usually my default process.

Craft Hour with Pinkfresh Studio

Hi there! Today I have a colorful project to share that I created with my talented friend, Jeff Lindberg. I joined Jeff for an episode of Craft Hour over on the Pinkfresh Studio’s YouTube channel.

Pinkfresh Studio-Sweet Blooms, Simply Diamonds die, Lea Ornate Uppercase, Heather Lowercase, Simply Sentiments-Hello

I asked Jeff beforehand what he would like to do, and he said, “Laura, teach me to blend like buttah:)” So that’s what we did! For the background we embossed the Sweet Blooms in clear and blended Pinkfresh Studio inks for the color. We added the Simply Diamonds die cut over the emboss resist and for the sentiment we used Lea’s Ornate Uppercase & Heather’s Lowercase Alpha dies. I added a coordinating embossed sentiment from the Simply Sentiments: Hello set.

Pinkfresh Studio-Sweet Blooms, Simply Diamonds die, Lea Ornate Uppercase, Heather Lowercase, Simply Sentiments-Hello

Here’s the Craft Hour Live replay if you haven’t seen it already. There were so many lovely familiar faces joining us live. I had the best time, but I’m not gonna lie, I was pretty nervous to do a live for the first time. Jeff was such a wonderful host. I’d join him again anytime.

Holly Jolly Cardinals

Hi there! Yesterday I shared this festive parade of rainbow cardinals over on the My Favorite Things YouTube channel featuring the Holly Jolly Cardinals from the latest September release.

MFT-Holly Jolly Cardinals Die-namics

Slimline cards are so trendy right now, and a row of die cut cardinals was a perfect fit! I also used the Christmas Cardinals stamp set for the sentiment. You can check out the video HERE! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Honey Bee STAMPtember® 2020 Exclusive Collaboration

Honey Bee STAMPtember® 2020 Exclusive Collaboration

I embossed the floral wreath image in clear and the circular part in gold and then blended distress inks for color. For the background I adhered thick strips of cardstock for a warm fall base.
