Giveaway will be $50 gift card for each company chosen from comments left across the hop – more comments left the better their chance of winning. Winner will be announced on Friday, August 14th, and winner will be posted on the MISTI blog, and as usual on the Pinkfresh winners page.
This first card features the Rainbow Card die set. This die set is designed to create a rainbow shaped card, but I used it here on a slimline sized card. For the sentiment I used the CZ Let’s Connect Word die.
There’s a fun reveal video of the Let’s Connect release over on the Simon Says Stamp blog. You can also shop the new release HERE! Thanks so much for stopping by!
I had a ball stitching away using some of these new dies. I’ve created three projects to share.
My first card uses the Stitchable Pinking Rectangle Die. I created my own sort of pattern creating colorful little repeating squares. I love how this die has such a clean, decorative edge.
For the embroidery floss I used what was in my stash. I’ve recently picked up some gorgeous neon colors at my local dollar store. For the sentiment I used the CZ Love You die with gold glittered cardstock & vellum.
I stitched horizontal rows of colored floss creating a rainbow pattern. For the sentiment I used the Fresh Rainbow Sentiments stamp set and trimmed out the word “hugs” to take up less space on the stitched heart.

Hi there! I’m back with my final Concord & 9th Feature Friday project. This week’s challenge was to use the spectrum featuring the new cardstock or ink colors.
I adhered a clear drop into the center of each bloom. Make sure and check out the Concord & 9th blog & Instagram to see more inspiration. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of projects where I experiment with clean, modern stitching on my cards.
I was inspired by the talented Rachel Parker Designs. Her beautiful stitching pieces are so fresh and geometric. I wanted to try something similar on a card.
I created my own stitching panels by punching holes using a thin needle. For the floss I used some cheap neon floss that I picked up at the dollar store. Gotta love a dollar store find! I took one single strand of thread out of the embroidery floss to make is super skinny, which gives an easy, breezy feel.
Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog. I was inspired by the incredible paper artist Naomi J Kendall. She does some amazing paper weaving like the one below.
I was so inspired by her piece and wanted to try something similar. I didn’t do paper weaving, although one of these days I am definitely going to try that. I trimmed strips of cardstock in a similar fashion. For the sentiment I used the Just Because Word Mix 2 stamp & die set.
You can check out the video of this project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog HERE. Sending you happy thoughts today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hi there! I’m back with another Feature Friday project for Concord & 9th. This week’s challenge was to feature two new colors on a project. As you can see. I failed, lol! What can I say? Color is my strength AND my weakness.
