Altenew August 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Altenew-Wonderful Wycinanki, Polish Papercuts 3D, Antique Roses

I’ve created three projects using some of the gorgeous new products from the August release. My first card features the Antique Roses stamp set. This stamp set also comes with a coordinating Mask/Stencil as well as a die set.

For the background I used the Stone Wall stencil and Aqualicious ink. The sentiment was embossed using the Wonderful Wycinanki stamp set.

My next card features the Wonderful Wycinanki stamp set.

I tried to emulate some of the beautiful Polish Wycinanki artwork that is so colorful and symmetrical.

My final card features the Polish Papercuts 3D die set.

What can I say? These dies are to die for! I simple used all of the dies along with solid colored cardstock and layered them up. The sentiment is again from the Wonderful Wycinanki stamp set.

Altenew 5th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 3 + Giveaway

Altenew-Mega Alphabet A & B Die, Cube Builder & Stone Wall Stencil

I’ve created a couple of projects using some of my favorite Altenew products. I love to personalize my cards and these Mega Alphabet dies are perfect for adding a monogrammed look.

Altenew-Mega Alphabet B Die & Cube Builder Stencil

For the background I used the Cube Builder Stencil, which is one of my all-time favorite stencils ever in the history of ever. I blended Distress Oxide inks in Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers.

This next card uses the Stone Wall Stencil with more Distress Oxide inks: Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch & Wilted Violet.

I added embossed sentiments to both cards using the Sentiments & Quotes stamp set along with a few sequins for embellishment.

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Dahlia Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Altenew for their Build-a-Flower: Dahlia release blog hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from Norine Borys’s blog.

For my project I embossed the outline floral images from the Build-a-Flower: Dahlia stamp set in clear and then for the color I blended Altenew inks. I used Pink Diamonds, Pinkalicious, Rubellite, Orange Cream & Autumn Blaze. For the leaves I used Bamboo & Olive.

After die cutting the floral images, I embossed a sentiment included in the Build-a-Flower: Dahlia stamp set. Before adhering the images I flicked a little bit of Licorice liquid watercolor onto my white cardbase. I also added a few Studio Katia sequins here and there for embellishment.

Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Altenew for their October blog hop featuring the brand new, amazing Watercolor Brush Markers. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from Rubeena Ianigro’s blog.I’ve created a couple of projects using these new Watercolor Brush Markers and they are incredibly user friendly with vibrant, happy colors.
For this first card I simply painted loose stripes onto watercolor paper and then using the Caps Bold Alpha dies I created the “Love Wins” sentiment.
This next card uses one of my all time faves: Sohcahtoa.
I stamped the triangles using Versafine Onyx Black onto Arches paper and then simply colored them in with the Watercolor Brush Markers.

Altenew September 2018 Washi Tape Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from the Altenew Card Blog. I have a couple of projects to share showcasing these fantastic new washi tapes. My first card features the Watercolor Nebula washi. Galaxy Backgrounds are so trendy right now and this is the easiest and quickest way to achieve a gorgeous galaxy night sky.For the sentiment I die cut the word “yay” with gold glitter cardstock using the Caps Bold Alpha dies. I embossed a coordinating sentiment using Sentiments & Quotes.This next card features the Painted Fantasy & Golden Edge washi tapes. I adhered the Painted Fantasy & Golden Edges tapes on an angle and then cropped off the panel. I adhered the panel onto a Scarlet Jewel card base. I embossed a sentiment from Cherished Memories in gold. Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.

Altenew June 2018 Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m honored to be joining Altenew for their June release blog hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from Anna Komenda’s blog.
My first project features the Moroccan Mosaic Background stamp set. I embossed the design in clear and blended Minty Mint, Sweet Leaf, Aqualicious and Teal Cave for the color. For the large “E” I used one of the fun new Logo Mega Alpha dies and then added a coordinating embossed sentiment from the Leaf Canopy set. You know what? I’ve already given this card away! I customized it with the first letter of the girl who we gave it to for a graduation card.
For this next card I used the Pinstripe stamp set.I embossed the stripes in clear and blended Citrus Burst and Fresh Lemon ink for the color. I stamped the Leaf Canopy images using a mixture of Minty Mint, Dew Drops & Aqualicious for a soft gradient look. For the sentiment I used the Pinstripe stamp set.
My last card features the Cherished Memories stamp set.
To begin I stamped the Moroccan Mosaic background in cream onto cream cardstock for a soft, tone on tone look. Then I embossed the floral images from Cherished Memories in clear and blended Pink Pearl & Coral Bliss on one bloom, Citrus Burst & Orange Cream on the other bloom and Minty Mint & Sweet Leaf on the leaves.

Altenew-May 2018 Inspiration Challenge

Hello, everyone! This month I’m joining Altenew in hosting the May 2018 Inspiration Challenge!

The inspiration photo for this month’s challenge is of a card from last year that I created featuring the Floral Shadow Stamp Set. There are so many great colors to choose from in this project, but we’ve decided to highlight the pink, aqua, and teal for the challenge.

Here’s what I came up with using this photo as my inspiration:
For the background, I blended Dew Drops & Aqualicious Crisp Dye Inks using the Stone Wall Stencil.For the floral images, I used the Garden Treasure Stamp Set. I stamped the blooms with Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious,& Razzleberry inks. I also used a bit of Autumn Blaze Crisp Dye Ink for the stamen in the blooms. For the leaves, I used Bamboo& Parrot inks. I used the coordinating Garden Treasure Die to cut the floral images out and pop them up onto the ink–blended background.For the sentiment, I used the Flower Arrangement Stamp Set. I stamped the “hello” and then used the coordinating Flower Arrangement Die to die cut the sentiment. I die cut four more white word die-cuts and adhered them together using spray adhesive to make a sturdy, dimensional word die–cut.

Altenew-Folksy Florals

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Altenew blog featuring the Folksy Florals stamp set.I used several images from the Folksy Florals Stamp Set to build a sort of symmetrical folk art design. Using the MISTI makes it easy to position your stamp, rotate it, and stamp it again, getting a perfectly symmetrical placement.To give the images a gradient look, I inked them up using a light and dark ink in the same color family. I used the Folksy Florals Stamp Set for the sentiment as well and popped up the panel onto a Harvest Gold base. To finish it off, I added a few enamel accents in Blue Ribbon & Wild Orchid. Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Altenew for their April release blog hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from Kelli Cool’s blog. My first project features the Gradient Stripes stamp set, Mega Thanks die & the Strength Blooms stamp set.
I used inks from the Sweet Dreams set to stamp the background with the Gradient Stripes set. Then I stamped the blooms from Strength Blooms with inks from the Cherry Blossom, Pocketful of Sunsine & Shades of Purple sets. For the sentiment I used the Mega Thanks die along with an embossed sentiment from the Many Thanks set.
This next card features the Mega Hello die & Gradient Lines Cover Die.
For the background I blended orange & yellow inks from the Warm & Cozy & Pocketfull of Sunshine ink sets behind the Sweet Dreams blended Gradient Lines Cover die. For the sentiment I used the Mega Hello die along with an embossed sentiment from the Sentiments & Quotes set.
