Altenew-Build-A-Flower: Carnation

Hi there! Today I’m joining Altenew for the release of their Build-A-Flower:Carnation set.
I love these gorgeous multi-step stamping sets. They really make you look like you know what you’re doing, ha! The carnation image is such a classic that will never go out of style.
I used variations of the Red Cosmos ink set to get the three different looks for each carnation and the Tropical Forest ink set for the leaves.GIVEAWAY!

Altenew December Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

My first card features the Parrot Paradise stamp & die set.
I flicked black paint on the background and colored the parrot with Copics. The leaves were stamped with Altenew Tropical Forest inks.
This next card features a few new sets: Floral Arrangement, Bold Numerals & Birthday Builder.
I used pattern paper for the background, stamped the blooms with Altenew inks and die cut the numbers with woodgrain pattern paper. The embossed sentiment is from the Birthday Builder set.

Altenew Markers Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m joining Altenew for their November blog hop featuring their newly release Artist Markers. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from the lovely Kathy Racoosin’s blog.I have a couple of projects that showcase some of the gorgeous colors in the Artist Markers B & C sets.For my first card I simply scribbled several of the markers onto Yupo paper. The Yupo paper has a coating on it that works beautifully with alcohol based markers. I added some blooms from Garden Treasure that were embossed in white onto vellum along with a sentiment from Label Love.My next card used the same Yupo paper that I scribbled the exact same colors on as above, but afterwards I added some drops of alcohol blending solution which created a magical reaction.
For the sentiment I used one of the Script Words 2 dies and embossed a coordinating sentiment from Super Script.

Altenew November 2017 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Altenew for their November blog hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from the Altenew Card Blog.
I have a couple of projects to share featuring a few new products from the November release.This first card features the Snapshots stamp & die set. I inked the camera stripes with Pink Diamonds & Pinkalicous and added a fun puffy sticker to the center of the camera. I made this card for my daughter Alex. She loves polaroids so I cut a small frame using this cut file on my Silhouette to frame a photo of us.I layered some Pinkfresh Studio pattern paper for the background and used the Creative Edges: Notebook die to add detail to the sides of the pattern paper. I embossed a sentiment from the Story of Us stamp set.
This next card features the Story of Us stamp set. I layered two of these gorgeous multi-step stamping blooms and popped them up to frame the sentiment that is also from the Story of Us.

Altenew-Halftone Stars

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Altenew blog featuring the Halftone Stars stamp set along with the Halftone Stars Nesting die set.To begin I die cut one of the larger star dies repeatedly all over a panel of white cardstock. For the background I blended Arctic, Carribean Sky, Persian Blue & Sapphire ink onto bristol paper. I also die cut some smaller stars and blended them with Citrus Burst & Honey Drizzle.
I added one final layer of stars using the smallest star die on glittered cardstock. For the sentiment I used the Halftone Stars stamp set and embossed in white onto a strip of black cardstock.

Altenew September 2017 Release Blog Hop Day 2 + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m joining Altenew for Day 2 of their September Release blog hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from Kristina Werner’s blog.
My first project showcases the fun 3D Circle Ornament die set. I thought that these ornaments not only make great ornaments but could also be colorful little gift toppers. I wrapped a gift with kraft wrapping paper that I stamped with the Majestic Mistletoe stamp set and clipped the ornaments onto the baker’s twine.
My next card features the Building Blocks die set.
To begin I blended distress cardstock with Altenew inks and then die cut the panel with several of the Building Blocks dies. I adhered them onto the card base with foam tape. I added a glittered sentiment from the Script Words 2 dies as well as an embossed sentiment from Happy Holidays. I embossed the branch from Peace on Earth onto vellum and added Nuvo Jewel drops for the berries.
My final card features the Winter Rose stamp set.
Such a gorgeous multi-step stamp set. I stamped the blooms using several Altenew inks. To finish it off I added some clear round drops.

Altenew-Hello

Hi there! Today I have a project that was up on the Altenew blog yesterday and I wanted to share it here as well. It’s featuring a few of the new products from Altenew’s August release.I started by embossing the geometric image from Building Blocks repeatedly for the background using clear embossing powder. Then I blended Mountain Mist for the color. I also flicked some Volcano Lake ink on with a wet brush.
I embossed the floral image from the Charmed stamp set with white embossing powder and blended in color using several Altenew inks. I used Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious, Citrus Burst & Bamboo.For the sentiment I used a die from the Envelope Liner die set on gorgeous glittered cardstock. I also added a few clear droplets to finish it off.

STAMPtember® 2017 Exclusive from Altenew!

Hi there! Today I’m excited to share a project featuring the latest STAMPtember® exclusive from Altenew called Fabulous You.I embossed the outline floral image from Fabulous You in the two corners with clear embossing powder. Then I used several Altenew inks to blend in the color.
For the sentiment I used the Bold Alphabet dies for the “hi” and then embossed a sentiment from Fabujous You in white onto a strip of black cardstock. Hi there! Yesterday I shared this project over on the Altenew blog featuring the gorgeous Floral Shadow stamp set.I created this colorful, dreamy background using Distress Oxide inks on Bristol paper.
I added a sentiment using the Halftone Smile stamps & dies and embellished with some delicious Nuvo jewel drops.

Altenew July 2017 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Altenew for their July blog hop release. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived from Eunyoung Lee’s blog.There are so many fantastic new products being released! I have a few to share today! My first card features the gorgeous Floral Fantasy set.
I stamped the flowers using some of the delicious new inks and popped up the blooms onto a White Woodgrain card base. I also added an embossed sentiment from Beautiful Inside.
This next card showcases the adorable Little One set.
For the background I embossed the Pattern Play-Hexagons set onto watercolor paper and then used my Peerless Watercolors to add the color.
My last card features the Baby Balloon set.
I used several Altenew inks to fill in each balloon and popped them up with foam tape. The sentiment is from Beautiful Inside.
