Altenew-Simple Flowers

July 12, 2017

Hello again! Today I’m also sharing this project over on the Altenew blog featuring the gorgeous Simple Flowers set.I used several delicious Altenew inks on the Simple Flowers images. Then I used the Simple Flowers coordinating dies to die cut each image out and then popped them all up onto a navy panel with an embossed sentiment from the Geometric Flower set.

Colorful Backgrounds with Stencils

Hi there! Today I’m sharing these projects over on the Altenew blog featuring more colorful stenciled backgrounds.This first card uses the gorgeous Cube Builder stencil. I had so many questions about how to make the rainbow background using the Cube Builder stencil that I made a video to show you how easy it is.
I added a sentiment from the Simple Flowers stamp set along with a few Sparkling Clear Sequins.This next card features the Grid Stencil. I used some gorgeous Altenew inks on both of my projects.The images & sentiment are from the Baby Zoo set.

Altenew Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Altenew for their June release blog hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived from Erum Tasneem’s blog.
I have a couple of projects to share featuring two of the gorgeous new stencils. This first card showcases the Graffiti Scribble Stencil. To create the background I blended in Arctic, Caribbean, Persian Blue & Sapphire ink over the Graffiti Scribble Stencil.
I added some bright yellow blooms using the Azalea stamp set & coordinating dies. Then I embossed a sentiment from the Sentiments & Quotes stamp set.
This next card features the amazing Cube Builder Stencil. Literally, I’ve died and gone to Cube Builder Heaven!!! I used several Altenew inks to create this rainbow cube background.
For the sentiment I used the Happy Birthday die and added a few sparkling clear sequins.

Altenew May 2017 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m excited to be joining Altenew for their May Release Blog hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from the lovely Svitlana Shayevich‘s blog.My first project features the Budding Thanks stamp set as well as the coordinating dies. I used several Altenew inks with this gorgeous multi-step stamping set. The sentiment is from Many Thanks.
For the background I used the new Layered Plaid Cover Die A. I layered white on white for a subtle tone on tone plaid pattern that didn’t distract from the colorful blooms.
This next card features the Layered Letters AFG stamp set along with the coordinating dies.
I stamped each polka dot ‘A’ with two colors of ink to give them a nice gradient look.
I die cut each letter using the coordinating dies and popped them up onto a Dark Gray panel. I also went a little bonkers with the Nuvo drops. As you can see I put them everywhere, ha!GIVEAWAY!!

Altenew-Halftone Circles

May 6, 2017

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this clean & simple, one-layer wonder over on the Altenew blog featuring the Halftone Circles stamp set.No fancy techniques here. Just good old fashioned stamping with lots of gorgeous Altenew inks. Using a MISTI & a Grid Sheet really helps to get consistent spacing.
I’m in love with this clean, modern design. I added an embossed sentiment, also from Halftone Circles.

I used one of the gorgeous pattern papers included in the kit for my background.
I embossed a couple butterflies onto vellum as well as a sentiment from the stamp set included in the kit. I also used the gorgeous frame die cut with the gold foil cardstock.

Altenew-March Release Blog Hop

Hello there! Today I’m excited to join Altenew for their March release blog hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from Nicole Picadura’s blog.So many fantastic new sets in the March release! My first card features the Simple Fruits set.
I used several Altenew inks on each of the fruits. I would ink up each fruit with two shades: lighter one of the top and darker ink on the bottom. Using the Misti helps a ton to do this. I used the coordinating dies and popped up each fruit with foam tape.
This next card features the Hug Me set. I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with Copics.
For the background I blended distress inks onto distress cardstock followed by some flicks of water.
This last card showcases the Garden Treasure stamp set with gorgeous multi-step stamping floral images.
I used Altenew inks on the flowers and added a bit more detail with my Prismacolor pencils. The sentiment is from Adore You.

Altenew-Thank You Stamping Kit

March 17, 2017

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of project created using the Thank You Stamping Kit by Altenew. This is a really great kit that contains everything you need to make atleast 50 thank you cards.For this first card I used solely what was included in the kit, which includes the Daisy & Many Thanks stamp sets along with the Red Cosmos & Green Fields mini cube sets.
For this next card I thought it would be fun to kick it up a notch using a bunch more color, a little die cutting and some embossing.
I used several Altenew inks with the Daisy set and a circle die by Hero Arts to frame the sentiment.
