Diamond Tiles

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project featuring the Diamond Tiles die set. This is one of my favorite die sets for several reasons. The first being that my daughter, Alex, designed this die set years ago and of course they lend themselves perfectly to my geometric loving heart. I used several shades of solid colored cardstock and pieced them together to create this fun pattern.

For the sentiment I used one of the CZ Reverse Birthday Sentiment Strips with the Sentiment Label dies.

There really is no end to the designs you can create with these dies. I find so much inspiration from quilt makers for these dies. Thanks so much for stopping by!

DieCember® Release Blog Hop

SSS-Diamond Tiles, CZ Hugs, Hello & Reverse Christmas

I have three projects to share today featuring the Diamond Tiles die set. This set is close to my heart because my oldest daughter, Alex, designed it. I coordinates well with her previously released Good Vibes stamp set.

SSS-Diamond Tiles, CZ Hello

For my first card I simply die cut several colors of solid colored cardstock using one of the smaller diamond dies. For the sentiment I used the CZ Hello die set with white & slate cardstock.

This second card features one of the middle diamond dies. For each die I used a darker & lighter shade of cardstock. The two colors together create a cool 3D look.

SSS-Diamond Tiles, CZ Hugs

For the sentiment I used the CZ Hugs die with vellum and gold foil cardstock.

My third card uses the leftover diamonds that came out the second card die cuts. That’s what you call being thrift & nifty:)

SSS-Diamond Tiles, CZ Reverse Christmas

For the sentiment I used one of the CZ Reverse Christmas Sentiment Strips.

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Pinkfresh Studio for their Background Stamp Blog Hop. I have a couple of projects to share using two of these gorgeous new background cling stamp.

Pinkfresh Studio-Floral Shadow, Simple Blossoms, Diamond Tiles, Frame Builder: Botanical rectangles, Sentiment Suite: Hello

My first card features the Floral Shadow Stamp. I inked it up with Misty Coast & Rocky Slope ink for a subtle gradient gray backdrop.

I used the Simple Blossoms stamp set and coordinating dies for the blooms. For the sentiment I used the Layered Bouquet stamp set.

This next card uses the Diamond Tiles background stamp. I embossed it is clear onto white cardstock and blended several Pinkfresh Studio inks to add the color.

Pinkfresh Studio-Diamond Tiles, Frame Builder: Botanical rectangles, Sentiment Suite: Hello

I used the Frame Builder: Botanical Rectangle dies to frame the sentiment. For the sentiment I used the Sentiment Suite: Hello word die, which I die cut out of vellum and gold foil cardstock. I also added a few Pinkfresh Studio essential crystals for embellishment.
