DieCember® Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for their DieCember® release blog hop. I have a colorful project to share using a couple of the fun new dies from the DieCember® release.
My project features the Spinning Circle die. I die cut eight different solid colored cardstocks, which allows you to make eight rainbow spinning circles. Ofcourse you could do any color combination that floats your boat. I’ve just been dying to try this with rainbow colors.
For the sentiment I used the You’re the Best die with White Glitter Cardstock and backed it with Island Blue.Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.

DieCember® Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for their DieCember® Blog Hop.
My first card features the Evergreen Circle die. I die cut the evergreen image with a nested circle die and then using a slightly larger circle mask, blended distress inks onto the background.I embossed a sentiment from the Coolest Yulest stamp set and popped the panel up onto a Fog card base.
This next card uses the same technique and features the Picture Book Tree Background die.I used a Basic Rectangle die to die cut the Picture Book Tree image out and then masked a slightly larger rectangle using post-it tape to blend the distress inks onto the background.Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.

Happy DieCember®!

Hello there & Happy DieCember®! The latest DieCember® release by Simon Says Stamp is now available and there is so much to love. I have a couple of project to share with you using a few of my faves from the release.First up is a project featuring the new Picture Book dies. The Picture Book dies are some of my most favorite dies by Simon and I was absolutely giddy to see a Hippo, a Moose & a Polar Bear💗
For the background I partially die cut one of the larger Nested Circle dies to create a circle frame and blended distress inks behind using Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade & Squeezed Lemonade.
The sentiment is also from the DieCember® release and is called the Script Miss You die.
Next up is another fantastic new die! I LOVE this one. It’s called the Happy HB die.
I kept this one really clean & simple adhering several strips of colored cardtsock in a row to show through the die cut letters of the Happy HB die. I used one of the Nested Circle dies to die cut the Happy HB die cut into a circle shape and popped it up over the colorful strips.
The colors of solid cardstock I use are: (top to bottom)
Amethyst Allure, Royal Purple, Doll Pink, Schoolhouse Red, Chilli Pepper, Orange Peel, Sunshine

SSS-Diecember® blog hop

Hello there! Today I’m very excited to join Simon Says Stamp along with several talented designers in a hop to showcase the awesome new Diecember® release.
My first project features the adorable Bear Hugs die. I die cut several pieces of felt and created a bear felt banner. In rainbow order, of course:) I adhered the bears with glossy accents.
I added a sentiment using one of the Handlettered Greetings dies with Fog cardstock. I used spray adhesive to adhere it to the card.
I had a bunch of colorful little felt hearts left over from die cutting the Bear Hugs and used them on this next card.
This card features the gorgeous Circle Leaves die with Cream Off cardstock. I added a sentiment using one of the new Missing You dies with Sea Glass yardstick. Two cards made solely with dies!!! So fun! These new Diecember® dies are fantastic!
