Hi there and Happy Halloween to those who celebrate! Today I’m sharing a graphic & colorful take using the Floating Ghost Cat die. This idea is a fun one for Halloween, but could easily be adapted for many occasions. Just switch up the color combinations and use whatever die images you have that could fit repeatedly on a card base.
I cut little rectangles of solid colored cardstock and then sliced the lighter ones in half from corner to corner. The mini guillotine makes this so much easier. I also love to use the mini guillotine to trim my sentiment strips. Here I used one of the EZ Strips Oh My Goth sentiment strips.
For the floating ghost cats, I die cut the backer cat and ghost topper out of white cardstock. I used a pink and black copic to color the ears, eyes and nose before gluing on the ghost costume. I also added a few clear gemstones for fun.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
