Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project featuring the Halloween Friends set by Simon Says Stamp. I used only the kitten image repeatedly to create a non-halloween card.
Our little cat, Frankie, looks exactly like the bottom, middle cat. He is very thin and always arched up, stretching and giving you this blank stare. Not sure what he’s trying to say. My son brought him home from Germany so maybe that’s where the communication gap is? The moving truck comes today to load everything in our house, and tomorrow we leave very early to start a new chapter in Minnesota. Our family is excited, a little sentimental and very exhausted all at the same time. We have been purging and purging and packing and purging. The bags just keep coming and coming. It never stops.
I am very excited to have my own craft room in this new house. I will, hopefully, try and document the process. Looking forward to sharing more with you from Minnesota. Thanks so much for stopping by!
I adhered strips of solid colored cardstock to the top of an A4 sized card and die cut the Peeking Cat right into the card base. For the sentiment I used Punny Animals.
This next card uses the Peeking Pup die. These are so adorable and would be perfect for shaker cards with their window openings.
I embossed a sentiment from Punny Animals for this card as well.

Hello & Happy DieCember®! Simon Says Stamp just released a super fun & festive DieCember® collection. Around 44 fantastic new dies. I’ve been crankin’ my Big Shot like nobody’s bizzz! My arms are gonna be so fit for the holiday, ha!I’ve got a couple of projects to share with you today featuring some of the new DieCember® goodies. This card features the Santa Cat & Santa Pup dies. I framed them using the largest Stitched Ovals dies and added a sentiment from Coolest Yulest. The plaid background paper is by Lawn Fawn. I also added some highlights to the eyes using a gel pen. Next up, my favorite this besides a rainbow or a shaker card is a shape card. This one is perfectly pandastic! I used the Big Picture Book Panda die along with the Big Picture Book Medium body. I traced the outline of the head and body todether to make a simple card base and adhered everything to the base. Believe me when I tell you I scrounged my house like a mad woman to find something adorably delicious to tuck inside his hands, but came up with nothing! So a cute little puffy gold sticker it was. I think a mini candy cane would be perfection for this, too! For the inside of the shape card I stamped a sentiment from Punny Animals. Oh, and by the way I found the perfect way to add a subtle rosy cheek to these picture book animals. I used a Detail Blending tool with Spun Sugar ink and it worked like a charm! I’ll be back tomorrow for a fun blog hop featuring more DieCember® goodies! Check out the new release HERE! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hi there & Happy Black Friday! Are you kitten me right meow? I hosted Thanksgiving yesterday so of course I am still in my pajamas and I am not sorry about it one little bit, ha!For this card I used the Right Meow stamp set. I stamped the images with Memento ink and colored them with Copics. For the background I used some Pinkfresh Studio pattern paper. For the sentiment I used my beloved Punny Animals set. Not sure if you can see it, but I added some glossy accents to the one kitty’s glasses and some Nuvo drops to the pearl necklace on the other kitty. If you are like me and enjoy the kind of Black Friday shopping that allows you to stay in your pj’s then I thought I’d mention some fantastic deals over at Simon Says Stamp.
And back by popular demand is the special Black Friday Crafty Parcel. The perfect gift for your crafty friend or maybe your crafty self:)
Enjoy your day & thanks so much for stopping by!
