Sunny Meadow Fair Collection

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a fun project using some of the adorable new stamps from the latest Sunny Meadow Fair Collection designed by  Stacey Yacula for Purple Onion Designs.

Isn’t this the cutest little scene? To begin I stamped the Fairgrounds Backgroundd, Wooley & the balloon from Fair Accessories onto bristol paper. I colored the images with Zig Clean Color Markers. I fussy cut the lamb and balloon out to pop up in front of the Fairgrounds Background. I added some white thread for the balloon string and added a sentiment from the Carnival/Fair Blurb Set

Purple Onion Designs-Anniversary Sale

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of project for the Purple Onion Designs Anniversary sale.
Purple Onion DesigsnMy first card features several adorable critters: Bella, April, Dotty & Pecan. These adorable images always steal my heart.Purple Onion Designs-Bella, April, Dotty & PecanI colored all the images with Copics, fussy cut them and popped them up onto the ink blended backgrounds. I used Tumbled Glass, Old Paper & Crushed Olive Oxide inks on the background and also die cut a few hills using the Landscape Trio dies. Then I die cut the entire panel using the scalloped rectangle from All Prettied Up.
Purple Onion Designs-Bella, April, Dotty & PecanThis next card features these sweet little fairies: Goldie & Flint. Both cards feature sentiments from the Essential Thoughts Sentiments Set.
Purple Onion Designs-Goldie & FlintI blended more oxide inks on the background using Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch & Wilted Violet followed by flicks of water. Then I die cut a circle frame using one of the Nested Circle Dies. I added a few Crystal Reflection sequins to finish it off.

Purple Onion Designs-Holiday Sale

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of Purple Onion Designs projects from their new “Twas The Night Before Christmas Collection.Purple Onion Designs-'Twas The Night Before Christmas stamp collectionMy first card features the Pine Tree Farm for the background, Yule for the snowman and Essential Holiday Greetings for the sentiment.
Purple Onion Designs-YuleI stamped the Pine Tree Farm on both the card base and the panel. Then I die cut the oval window into the panel and popped it up over the background so that it blends in but also frames the sweet Yule Snowman. All images were stamped with Memento & colored with Copics. I masked the trees with a post-it note and blended Mermaid Lagoon on the background.
Purple Onion Designs-YuleMy next card features the Pine Tree Farm again for the background and then Red & Clause for the images. The sentiment is also from the Essential Holiday Greetings set.
Purple Onion Designs-Red & ClausHow adorable are these sweet furry critters? I absolutely love Stacey Yacula’s designs. I found it worked great for me to apply EZ Mount foam to my stamps so that I could use them with my MISTI to get a great impression.

Purple Onion Designs-Happy Trails

Hi there! Today I have a couple of projects showcasing the adorably sweet release by Purple Onion Designs called Happy Trails.
Purple Onion Designs-Free SpiritsThis first card features a few stamps: Free Spirits, Buddy, Smokey & Journey Sentiment Set. I colored the images with Copics and blended the background with distress inks. I can’t get over these sweet images!
Purple Onion Designs-Free SpiritsThis next project features the VW Bus & Journey Sentiment Set.
Purple Onion Designs-VW BusI created a partially die cut window to frame the cute Bus using a Stitched Oval die with some pattern paper in the background.
Purple Onion Designs-VW BusJust wanted to make mention that these are unmounted red rubber stamps, not clear acrylic. They stamp beautifully, but require an extra step to make them cling.
