Wild & Free Flowers

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of projects using the latest April card kit by Simon Says Stamp.

For my first card I used the Wild & Free Flowers stamp set, stamping the bloom with Latte ink onto Buttercream and using one of the circle dies to create a window frame for it. I adhered strips of solid colored cardstock for a pop of color along with milky splash drops.

For my second card I used the Floating Flowers embossing folder, included in the kit, with Buttercream cardstock. I embossed the bloom from Wild & Free Flowers in white onto vellum and added the left over circle die-cut from the first card because I’m thrifty & nifty like that:)

Whimsy Floral

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project featuring the Floral Whimsy Stencil Set. I used several Pawsitively Saturated Ink colors.

SSS-Floral Whimsy, CZ Hi There Greetings

For the sentiment I used the CZ Hi There Greetings Stamp Set along with a few Rainbow Splash clear drops.

Mix & Match Butterflies

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project using the Mix & Match Butterflies stamp & die set. This set was also included in the latest March Card Kit.

SSS-Mix & Match Butterflies, CZ Basic Trio

I used the dies to create open windows for the butterflies on the background and stamped them tone on tone with matching inks & cardstock. Then I embossed a butterfly in white onto vellum and added a matte gold hello from the CZ Basic Trio die set.

Limited Edition Easter Kit

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project using the latest Limited Edition Easter Kit by Simon Says Stamp.

I colored one of the Floral Assortment Watercolor Cards in the Easter Kit. Using post-it tape I tried to mask off the blooms and blend ink for color, but on the leaves I just used Copics. I fussy cut the blooms out and popped them up onto one of the Watercolor Notecards included in the kit. I also took some Black Soot ink to splatter a few drops on the card base. For the sentiment I used the Hoppy Easter Stamp Set in the kit.

Hi there! Today I’m joining Simon Says Stamp for Day 2 of their Splendor Release Blog Hop.

My card features the Rainbow Splash Flip Flop Shapes & Candy Stripe Stencils. For the sentiment I used the CZ Cheers along with the CZ Birthday Basics.

Splendor Release

Hi there! Popping in to share a couple of projects featuring the new Splendor release by Simon Says Stamp.

My first card uses the new Fine Floral Stem and Fancy Lucky Dies. I used one of the Reverse Lucky Sentiment Strips as well along with some Clear Dazzling Gems. I added some strips of solid colored cardstock to the background for a pop of rainbow.

My second card features the Simple Flowers with a sentiment from CZ Birthday Basics. I added a few Zest sequins to the centers of some of the blooms for sparkle.

Love Notes

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a card using the fun, new Love Notes set design by Tim Holtz with the coordinating dies by Simon Says Stamp.

I used several Pawsitively Saturated inks and stamped the smallest two hearts in the set repeatedly. For the sentiment I used the CZ Swoopy Love You die with matte gold cardstock.
