Folksy Heart

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project using the Layered Folksy Heart Stencil Set by Simon Says Stamp.

SSS-Layered Folksy Heart

This set comes with four layering stencils. I used a bunch of memo tape to mask off areas so that I could bring in a lot of color. You certainly don’t have to make it so complex, but I do love how this turned out. The tiny detail brushes make this so much easier to get into little areas. I used the coordinating die to cut it out. For the sentiment I used one of the Reverse You Did Sentiment Strips.

Sending you so much love today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Circles

Hi there! Every once and a while I crave a simple, graphic design using simple geometric shapes. Today’s project was inspired by the incredible work of Leon Polk Smith.

SSS-Nested Circles, Reverse Grateful

I used the Nested Circles dies to create this inspired pattern. For the sentiment I used one of the Reverse Grateful sentiment strips.

Just For You Release

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of project using some of the fun, new Just for You release by Simon Says Stamp.

SSS-Layered Bunny, Reverse Some Bunny

My first card features the adorable Layered Bunny die. I created a colorful background using the Nested Circle dies and for the sentiment I used one of the new Reverse Some Bunny Sentiment Strips. I trimmed the sentiment strip in half and put the second part on the inside of the card.

My next card showcases the Bunny Egg Stencil & Die Set with another Reverse Some Bunny Sentiment Strip.

Sweet Tweets Easter Kit

Hi there! Just popping in to share a project using the new Sweet Tweets Easter Kit by Simon Says Stamp. To begin I adhered strips of solid colored cardstock onto a panel for the background. Using the new Posy die, I stacked three up using the Micro Dot Adhesive Sheets. For the sentiment I used the Sweet Tweets stamp set.

Hi Gorgeous

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a super simple project using some of my hoarded sequins. This year I made a resolution to get my embellishments more organized. I haven’t done a single thing about that yet. Are you surprised? I am, however, trying to be mindful to just USE THEM!

SSS-CZ Hi There Greetings

This was a fun card to make. I stamped that lovely, bold “hi” from CZ Hi There Greetings and then die cut using a nested circle die. I adhered a rainbow of sequins behind the die cut using sequins from several different packs. It was a treasure hunt, for sure, trying to find the right colors and size but worth it.

Happy Wishes

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a fun project featuring the Happy Hello and Happy Wishes from the March Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.

SSS-Happy Hello, Happy Wishes

I used the MISTI to stamp the rows of blooms. To get four shades for each bloom I had to get a little creative. For the last bloom in the first row I used Aegean ink and then stamped it again with Pine to get the combination but a little bit darker. Using the MISTI makes is easy to line up perfectly each time. Second row, bottom blooms combines Mandarine & Pucker. Third row, bottom bloom combines Rose & Taffy. Here’s a little reel showing this card.
