Sunny Days Ahead Release

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of projects using some of the new products from the latest Sunny Days Ahead release by Simon Says Stamp.

SSS-Outline Mama, Extra Large Congrats, CZ Grad Hat dies, Rose Trio & Graduation Celebration Layering Stencils

This first card uses the Graduation Celebration Layering Stencil on the background. There are three stencils in this layering stencil set. I only two of the stencils: the confetti & the graduation caps. I first blended a soft layer of distress inks on the panel and then went over with the stencil using the same colors for a tone on tone look.

For the sentiment I use the CZ Extra Large Congrats die with rainbow pattern paper. I also used the CZ Grad Cap die and added a coordinating sentiment with one of the Sentiment Strips Reverse Grad.

This next card is for all the mamas out there:) I did the same sort of recipe that I used on the first card with a soft, subtle ink blended background and then tone on tone inking with a stencil. For this card I used the Rose Trio stencil.

For the sentiment I used the Outline Mama die along with a coordinating sentiment from the Sentiment Strips Reverse Mom set. I also added a few embellishments from the new sequin mixes: Soft Sunrise & April Showers.

Perfect Shapes Star

Hi there!! I’m back again to share a quick peek at a project that I have over on the Simon Says Stamp blog. I used the Perfect Shapes die set to create this colorful star. For the sentiment I used Just Because Word Mix 2. You can check out the video of this project HERE!

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a few super simple graphic projects that use very limited supplies. You probably have everything you need to make these today!

SSS-Nested Circle Dies, Sentiment Strips-All Things Happy

I was inspired by some beautiful art that I’ve seen by Andy Westface and others on Pinterest HERE and HERE.

I created circle masks using the Nested Circle dies and blended the color using Altenew inks.

For the mountains I simply masked off the angles using post-it tape.

For the sentiments I trimmed some of the Sentiment Strips-All Things Happy.

For the card below I embossed a sentiment from the CZ Simple Sentiments No. 1 set.

Lucky to Know You Release Blog Hop

SSS-Leaves Stencils & Just Because Word Mix 2 stamp set

I blended the leaves with distress inks and for the sentiment I used the Just Because Word Mix 2 stamp set & coordinating die. For embellishment I added some Rainbow Sparkle Jewels.

I used the adorable She Gnome die set along with the Sentiment Strips All Things Happy. I also used some Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow pattern paper.

Basic Square designs

Hi there! Today I’m sharing another geometric experiment using the Basic Square die set by Simon Says Stamp. I die cut several squares using solid colored cardstock and then trimming those squares into triangles.

For the sentiment I used the CZ All the Thanks stamp set and embossed it in white onto black cardstock.

Wedding Day Love

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a colorful wedding card featuring the Heart to Heart Background cling stamp by Simon Says Stamp.

SSS-Heart to Heart Background, All My Love

I embossed the background in clear and blended Squeezed Lemonade, Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Salty Ocean and Cracked Pistachio. The overlapping color created when you blend Spun Sugar into Squeezed Lemonade is my latest obsession. I love that fresh, peachy color so much.

For the sentiment I use the Love 2 die & All my Love stamp set. I added a gold frame using one of the A2 Thin Frames.

Love You Trio Window Shaker

Hi there! Just popping in today with a love you trio window shaker card using some of the goodies from the latest February Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp. Unfortunately the card kit is sold out, but everything that I used to make this card is sold seperately.

These shaker pouches by My Favorite Things are a shakers best friend, let me tell ya, and so easy to use with the Trio Window die. I did a simple emboss resist using the Window Frame stamp set and added color with distress inks.
