STAMPtember® Blog Party

Hi there & happy STAMPtember®! Today I’m joining Simon Says Stamp for a special STAMPtember® Blog Party! You can check out the amazing new release HERE!

SSS-Floral Bundle & Friend

I’ve created a couple of projects featuring the Floral Bundle die along with the Friend die.

SSS-Floral Bundle & Friend

For this first card I created a colorful background by adhering strips of solid colored cardstock onto a panel. This really makes the white Floral Bundle die cut pop. I feel like I’ve done this same look every week, but you know what they say? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

SSS-Floral Bundle & Friend

For this next card I went ultra simple. I simply die cut the Floral Bundle die onto a kraft card base.

SSS-Floral Bundle & Friend

For the sentiment I used the Friend die cut again, but this time without the shadow outline behind. I added a few enamel dots for a bit of color.

Make sure and check out the STAMPtember® Party over on the Simon Says Stamp blog to see more amazing projects created using the new release. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Look for the Rainbows

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a super simple shaker using some of the fun products included in the September Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.

SSS-Look for the Rainbows

The kit includes some gorgeous Kaleidoscope pattern paper by Vicki Boutin that I used and die cut a window opening using a Nested Circle die. I backed the opening with acetate and added a double layer of foam tape to give the scrumptious Pure Sheen Gems room to shake along with some other sequins.

SSS-Look for the Rainbows

The sentiment is from the the Look for the Rainbows stamp set that is also included in the kit. I love this lyric from the song in the Wizard of Oz.

SSS-Look for the Rainbows

Sometimes a simple shaker is all you need when you have a great sentiment, rainbow pattern paper and scrumptious gems & sequins. Here’s to a rainbow kinda day:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hey Sassy

SSS-Scallop Waves, Picture Book Unicorn, CZ Hey Mama

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a sassy little card that I made for my daughter to send to her friend. For the background I used the Scallop Waves stamp and colored several of the bows with Copics. I initially wanted to color each tiny little rainbow on the background with rainbow colors, but then I chose the easy route and went just with the pinks.

I added the Picture Book Unicorn that was also colored with Copics. For the sentiment I used the CZ Hey Mama dies set & added the “sassy” from the CZ Hello You stamp set.

That’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

You Rule

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog featuring the School Days stamp set. Perfect for back to school or really anytime you wanna tell someone that they rule:)

SSS-School Days

I had some fun coloring the rulers using the Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers. You can check out the video HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Believe in You Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for Day 2 of their Believe in You Release Blog Hop. You can check out the fabulous new release HERE!

SSS-Faceted Stripes & Greetings Mix 1

My project features the Faceted Stripes Stencil. I used Pixie Spray to hold down my stencil, and it worked like a charm. I know you’re gonna think I’m crazy(and I don’t deny it), but I did, in fact, mask off each segment of on the stencil to blend each one a separate color.

SSS-Faceted Stripes & Greetings Mix 1

I just had to give the idea and try and I gotta say, I absolutely love how it looks, although it’s definitely not something that you’re gonna want to mass produce. For the sentiment I use the new Greetings Mix 1 stamp set. I also added some silver thread and clear drops, just to zhuzh it up a little:)

Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.

Sunflower Stem

Hi there! Popping in with a fun project featuring a couple of the new products from the awesome new Believe in You release by Simon Says Stamp.

SSS-Sunflower Stem & CZ Clean Line Everyday

I used the Sunflower Stem die for this card. I die cut about four out of white cardstock and stacked them together using spray adhesive for dimension.

SSS-Sunflower Stem & CZ Clean Line Everyday

I colored the inner petals with Copic makers and inlayed them into the die cut. For the sentiment I used the new CZ Clean Line Everyday stamp set. If only sunflowers came with rainbow petals. Wouldn’t that be spectacular?

I’ve got a fun release reveal video showing all of the fantastic new designs over on the Simon Says Stamp blog. More inspiration to come in the next few days with blog hops and giveaways. Stay tuned and thanks so much for stopping by!

Party Like a Panda

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project using the latest August 2019 Card Kit-Party Like a Panda.

SSS-August 2019 Card Kit-Party Like A Panda

I used the fun Flocking Sheets to make a fuzzy little Picture Book Panda and the Party Like a Panda stamp set for the sentiment.

SSS-August 2019 Card Kit-Party Like A Panda

The kit comes with some Doodlebug pattern papers as well that I used on the background. The panda is not only cute, it doubles as a bookmark. Emma couldn’t wait to test it out on her latest book. She asked me if I could possibly make her a unicorn bookmark, and I can using the Picture Book Unicorn die.

Basking in the Overlap

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this super simple thank you card featuring some oldies but goodies. When I look back over my card making life my most favorite cards are always the simplest ones so that’s what I’m gonna try to do more of: clean, simple, color.

SSS-Big Perfect Shapes & CZ 30 Days of Thankful

I used one of my favorites, but I can’t find it in the Simon Says Stamp shop anymore. It’s called Big Perfect Shapes, but you could easily just use any large solid shape that you might have. Doesn’t have to be a heart either.

SSS-Big Perfect Shapes & CZ 30 Days of Thankful

I used Simon Says Stamp inks which gave a beautiful, vibrant color as well as a show stopping overlap. To me, the overlap is what life it all about. For the sentiment I embossed a simple thank you from CZ 30 Days of Thankful.

Here’s a video to show you how easy this card was to create.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!
