Limited Edition Easter 2019 Card Kit

Hi there! Hippity hoppin’ in to share the latest Limited Edition Eggstra Sweet Easter 2019 card kit by Simon Says Stamp!

SSS-Nested Eggs, Eggstra Sweet Easter

For my first card I went to town with the Nested Egg dies. I layered the negative eggs using solid colored cardstock. This card really has fantastic dimension, but it is thick. I’m not gonna lie. I had to try it though. I just wanted to see what it would look like. I love how it looks, but this would have to be a hand delivered card I think. For the sentiment I used the Eggstra Sweet Easter stamp set.

This next card uses the Jelly Bean background cling stamp. I used Fresh Mint ink onto Sea Glass cardstock. Then I stamped the image from Esggstra Sweet Easter and colored it with Copics.

I fussy cut the image out and popped it up with foam tape onto the jelly bean background. The sentiment is also from Eggstra Sweet Easter, and the sequins are Lucky Shamrock.

I couldn’t resist and Easter Egg shape card using the Nested Egg dies. I also used some of the Echo Park pattern paper included in the kit along with one of the Darice Mini Carrots. The sentiment is from Eggstra Sweet Easter.

Fresh Bloom Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m joining Simon Says Stamp for Day 2 of their Fresh Bloom release blog hop!

SSS-Triangle Element,CZ Design-You Got This

My project features the Triangle Element die. I die cut several out of white cardstock and stacked them up using spray adhesive for added dimension.

SSS-Triangle Element,CZ Design-You Got This

I blended distress inks onto a panel of white cardstock using Spiced Marmalade, Worn Lipstick, Wilted Violet & Salty Ocean and then ran it through with the Triangle Element die. I inlayed the ink blended triangles into the white die cut on a navy background. The contrast of this on the navy absolutely toots my flute!

For the sentiment I used the You Got This stamp & die set. Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.

Fresh Bloom Release

Hi there! Have you seen the fun new Fresh Bloom release by Simon Says Stamp? It’s so fun! There’s a little something for Easter, Spring and all year round as well.

SSS-CZ You Got This Tag, Triangle Blast Stencil, Peeking Bunny, Bunny Wishes

I created a couple of quick and easy projects using some of the fun new products.

SSS-CZ You Got This Tag, Triangle Blast Stencil, Peeking Bunny, Bunny Wishes

This first card uses the fun new You Got This Tag designed by the one and only Cathy Zielske. She’s my fave:) I die cut the tag using Lawn Fawn pattern paper. For the background I used the Triangle Blast stencil and distress inks in similar colors to the tag: Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feather & Salty Ocean.

SSS-CZ You Got This Tag & Triangle Blast Stencil

This adorable little mini card features the Peeking Bunny die. I can’t with the simply cuteness! I used more Lawn Fawn pattern paper and embossed a sentiment from Bunny Wishes on the bottom.

Harvest Stencil Birthday

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this card over on the Simon Says Stamp blog featuring the Harvest Stencil and the Big Happy dies for the sentiment.

SSS-Harvest Stencil, Big Happy

This card, like most of mine, was an absolute evolution. I have an idea in mind, but the end result is always a surprise! Check out the video over on the Simon Says Stamp blog to see how I created it!

Sketched Flowers

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a project using the Sketched Flowers stamp set.

SSS-Sketched Flowers

I stamped the floral image with Memento ink and colored it with Copics. Then I took a white gelly roll pen and added some highlights along with a few flicks of licorice liquid watercolor.

SSS-Sketched Flowers

For the sentiment I embossed the “happy birthday” from Beautiful Flowers and die cut using one of the Nested Banner dies. For embellishments I used a few jewels in coordinating colors.

Distress Oxide Sprays

SSS-Everyday Words on a Line, Ornate Love & Distress Oxide Sprays

Hey there! Today I have a fun project to share where I experimented with the Distress Oxide Sprays. These are so much fun to used, although I have MUCH to learn! Once I sprayed the background with Mermaid Lagoon & Cracked Pistachio I turned it into a card using the hearts from Ornate Love, a sentiment from Everyday Words on a Line & Tiny Words. I also added a few gorgeous Studio Katia sequins.

Simon Says Stamp-March 2019 Card Kit

Hi there! Have you seen the awesome new March 2019 Card Kit, Lucky Rainbow? It is right up my rainbowlicious alley!!!

Simon Says Stamp-March 2019 Card Kit

My first card features the Amazing stamp set included in the kit. I am so giddy about this card because it’s been far to long since I’ve made a one-layer wonder, and I gotta say, it feels darn good.

Simon Says Stamp-March 2019 Card Kit-Amazing

I used Mama Elephant pigment inks for this, keeping it very clean and simple and stamping a bold black sentiment from the Amazing set.

This next card features the adorable Wooly Lucky stamp set.

Simon Says Stamp-March 2019 Card Kit-Wooly Lucky

I created a shaker card using a Nested Circle die and filled it with some of the fun Lucky Charmz included in the kit. I also used some of the fun Really Rainbow Scallops pattern paper.

Love Always

Hi there! Today I’m sharing another lovey dovey project using the heart outline stamp from Love Always.

SSS-Love Always

I stamped that one single outline heart, well let’s see, at least 45 times to make this particular card. That’s not counting all the mistakes. It took a few tries to get the spacing right, but it was all worth it in the end. And you know what else? I didn’t use a MISTI(gasp). It was quicker to just eyeball it rather than reposition the stamp or cardbase each time. I used some yummy Simon Says Stamp inks in: Doll Pink, Hot Lips, Rosie Cheeks, Melon & Lemon Chiffon.

SSS-Love Always

For the simple block sentiment I die cut solid colored cardstock in Doll Pink, Lipstick Red, Guava & Orange Peel with the Ornate Love dies.

SSS-Love Always

We are on snow day number two over here, and it is perfect for skating. Pot Pies are in the oven and the fire is crackin’.

Lovable Sloth

Hi there! Today I have a project to share featuring the adorable Lovable Sloth die by Simon Says Stamp.

SSS-Loveable Sloth

Not that the sloth needed any help in the lovable department, but I feel like I might have just made him cuter with a torso, hahaha! I used the torso from the Picture Book Gorilla die and created a window frame using one of the Simple Rectangle dies.

SSS-Loveable Sloth

For the sentiment I used the Love You dies as well as a coordinating embossed sentiment from Love You Like by the one and only Cathy Zielske. Only she could come up with a sentiment of such perfection as “love you like free wifi”:) The background pattern paper is by Lawn Fawn.

SSS-Loveable Sloth

Today I saw jelly beans at the grocery store. I let out a silent yell of protest on the inside. I just can’t with the Easter yet. It is a full blown snow day here in Illinois at -10°. Hubby just brought the kids in from ice skating on the pond. He’s living his best life today. Wishing you a fantastic day with all the free wifi, chocolate and crafty fun:) Thanks so much for stopping by!
