EXCLUSIVE Tim Holtz Sizzix Feathered Cardinal die

How cute are these cardinals? I googled “cardinal” to get some inspiration and was pleasantly surprised to find the gorgeous colors of cardinals that I never knew existed.

I used the Stitched Sloped and Hills dies and CZ Hello die for the sentiment. I flipped the yellow cardinal die cut over to get it to face the opposite direction. I die cut the yellow cardinal on scratch paper and went over it with my bone folder so that it doesn’t have scratchy looking marks on it.

I also created a coordinating red gingham envelope to coordinating with the card using the Slimline Envelope die. Check out the Simon Says Stamp blog to see more incredible inspiration using this die. It is only available FREE with any Tim Holtz brand purchase while supplies last! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Walt & Wald-Fachwerkhaus

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this cute, little card featuring a new die that I recently purchased from Walt & Wald. They are a German-based company and I fell in love with their clean, modern style. I ordered this Fachwerkhaus die, which means, “half-timbered house”…at least I think that’s what it means. I’m correct with my translations about 25% of the time, lol.

Not gonna lie. It was a labor of love die cutting all of these tiny, little pieces in various colors, but it was worth it. You could make a much simpler and easier version by just doing more neutral colors.

I created a grassy hill using one of the Stitched Slopes & Hills dies. For the sentiment I used one of the Reverse Miss You sentiment strips. It would be cute to add a little wreath on the houses to make them Christmassy, too.

Wouldn’t it be so great if we could all retire on the same block? How crafty and fun would that be? Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sending Love

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Simon Says Stamp blog. I’m not sure if this is a sunrise or a sunset, but either way I find it very peaceful and pleasing:)

SSS-Circle Masks, Stitched Slopes & Hills, Reverse Sympathy

I used the Circle Masks to create the gradient sun rays. For the waves I used the Stitched Slopes & Hills dies, and for the sentiment I used one of the Reverse Sympathy Sentiment Strips. You can check out the video HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by!
