Waffle Flower-Two-Step Leaves, Sentiment Additions 2

For my project I used the Two-Step Leaves stamp & die combo. I stamped the leaves using Concord & 9th inks. The stems were stamped with the same color as the leaf to give a subtle tone on tone impression.

Waffle Flower Crafts-Stitchables Hop

Hi there! Today I’m joining Waffle Flower Crafts for their Stitchables Hop. These new products are now available in the store!

In case you missed it, Nina introduced the beginner friendly Stitched Borders here, and the Pinking Shapes and Holiday Shapes for more experienced users. You can also find some Coordinating Products here!

I had a ball stitching away using some of these new dies. I’ve created three projects to share.

Wafflen Flower Crafts-Stitchables Release

My first card uses the Stitchable Pinking Rectangle Die. I created my own sort of pattern creating colorful little repeating squares. I love how this die has such a clean, decorative edge.

Waffle Flower Crafts-Stitchable Pinking Rectangle Die, CZ Love You die

For the embroidery floss I used what was in my stash. I’ve recently picked up some gorgeous neon colors at my local dollar store. For the sentiment I used the CZ Love You die with gold glittered cardstock & vellum.

Wafflen Flower Crafts-Stitchable Pinking Rectangle Die, CZ Love You die

This next card features the Stitchable Pinking Heart Die.

Waffle Flower Crafts-Stitchable Pinking Heart Die, Fresh Rainbow Sentiments

I stitched horizontal rows of colored floss creating a rainbow pattern. For the sentiment I used the Fresh Rainbow Sentiments stamp set and trimmed out the word “hugs” to take up less space on the stitched heart.

Waffle Flower Crafts-Stitchable Pinking Heart Die

This last card uses the small stitchable tags from the Stitchable Squares Die set. I framed the tiny tags using the largest Blanket Stitch Layers Die with white cardstock and popped it up over some pink Half-Half Lines-Unicorn pattern paper.

Waffle Flower Crafts-Blanket Stitch Layers Die, Stitchable Squares Die, Fresh Rainbow Sentiments

I embossed another sentiment from the Fresh Rainbow Sentiments stamp set and trimmed out the word “hugs”.

Waffle Flower Crafts Color Combos Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Waffle Flower for their August Release. These fun, new products are designed to help you organize your ink and paper supplies, BUT they can also be used to make some awesome designs on cards.

Waffle Flower Crafts-Color Combos Die & Big Dots Sentiments Stamp & Die set

My first card features the Color Combos die set. I used the dies to create a colorful design using solid colored cardstock. I scrounged through my cardstock stash to find as many colors as I could to group together. Most of the time I could only come up with three shades so the darkest shade was created using the darkest shade of cardstock and a copic maker to make the strip slightly darker but yet still in the same color family.

Waffle Flower Crafts-Color Combos Die & Big Dots Sentiments Stamp set

For the sentiment I used the Big Dots Sentiment Stamp Set.

Waffle Flower Crafts-Color Combos Die & Big Dots Sentiments Stamp set

This next card used the Big Dots Die Set as well as the Big Dots Sentiment stamp set.

Waffle Flower Crafts-Big Dots stamp & die set

I used those same scraps of cardstock to fill in each of the holes. I popped up the panel and recessed each of the colorful dots. I gotta give the jewel picker tool a shout out for making this job a complete joy.
