Hi there! Today I’m joining Waffle Flower to celebrate their 7th birthday with a blog hop! Since we are celebrating 7 years, we are featuring our 7 favorite Waffle Flower products. My first favorite product are the Media Mats: full size & mini. I have used these things so many times. You can scruntch them up into a suitcase and they never wrinkle or loose their shape. The are perfect to use with all sorts of wet media.

My next favorite are these fun stencils. I love the idea of a rotating stencil and these are three of my faves: the Infinite Triangles, Rings Builder and Infinite Petals Stencils.

My next favorite Waffle Flower products are the Paper Pads. Ofcourse you know I love JJ’s Rainbow pad, but I also love the Half-Half Dots & Lines pads, too. The colors are so happy and the weight of the cardstock is sturdy.

Next up is the Color Combo die set. This is perfect for swatching out your inks or cardstocks, but I love to use them to create geometric designs.

Next is the Fresh Rainbow Combo set. This rainbow die gives me life and pairs perfectly with JJ’s Rainbow paper pack. The sentiment are perfect as well with a great mixture of fonts.

Video Hop on Water Media Mat

Hi there! Today I’m joining Waffle Flower for a video hop to showcase their amazing new Water Media Mat. I have been able to play around with this mat for a few weeks now and can honestly say that I love it!

Waffle Flower-Sweet Ice Cream

I’ve created a project using the adorable Sweet Ice Cream stamp set by Waffle Flower. I stamped the images with Versafine Onyx Black Ink onto Bristol and colored the images in using Zig Clean Color Markers. Using the Water Media Mat was a dream. I scribbled a bit of color onto the mat, picked it up with a water brush and simply painted the images. Coming from a Copic lovin’ gal, I gotta say, this new type of media has me hooked!

Waffle Flower-Sweet Ice Cream

I popped the painted panel over some Pinkfresh Studio pattern paper and added a few Nuvo Jewel drops for embellishment.

Waffle Flower-October Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Waffle Flower for their October Release Blog Hop.Waffle Flower-Yippee & Pull-tab Tree dieI’ve created a couple of projects using a few of the new sets from the new release. My first card features the adorable Yippee stamp set & coordinating dies.
Waffle Flower-YippeeFor the background I blended Distress Oxides in Mermaid Lagoon & Cracked Pistachio. I also flicked a little bit of Aquamarine Liquid Watercolor. I colored the images with Copics and embossed the sentiment. To finish it off I added a few Colorful Confetti sequins.
Waffle Flower-YippeeThis next card used the Pull-tab Tree die & the Add-on die. Isn’t this the coolest thing ever? When you pull the tab the tree pops out and becomes full & round.
Waffle Flower-Pull-tab Tree dieFor the background I used some Lawn Fawn pattern paper. I die cut the tree parts and blended each of them with Distress Oxides in Twisted Citron & Mowed Lawn. After assembling the tree, which by the way, you can find a tutorial on assembly over at Waffle Flower, I added so Nuvo Jewel Drops for colorful ornaments.Waffle Flower-Pull-tab Tree dieIn this next photo I was attempting to show how the tree folds flat to go inside an envelope. Pay no attention to my alien-like finger, ha!
Waffle Flower-Pull-tab Tree dieI stamped a sentiment on the inside of the card using the Christmas Tree stamp set.

Waffle Flower August Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Waffle Flower for their August release blog hop. This is such a fun release full of products to help you swatch, experiment, practice or even play with your various color mediums.
Waffle Flower-Color Swatches, Lacy Flower & AdventuresI had fun playing with the Color Swatches stamp set and used it to create this colorful background grid. I stamped the row of squares repeatedly and painted each square using distress inks. I layered the Lacy Flower die over the painted background and added a sentiment from the new Adventures stamp set.Waffle Flower-Color Swatches, Lacy Flower & AdventuresI also created a small swatch chart of my most used distress ink cubes. This is just a small chart, but you could easily stamp the swatch images three times on a larger piece of watercolor paper and swatch as many as 72 colors. Swatch charts are a feast for the eyes, aren’t they?Waffle Flower-Color SwatchesHere’s a video to show you how I created these projects.
