World Card Making Day Blog Hop

WCMD and Simon Says Stamp!

Hi there & Happy World Cardmaking Day! Today I’m honored to join Simon Says Stamp in a blog hop celebrating this fun day!SSS-Ornate OrnamentsEach of the designers have created a project using the Ornate Ornaments set. To begin I embossed the ornaments in clear and blended Distress Oxide Inks over the embossing. Then I die cut the ornaments using the coordinating Ornate Ornaments dies. SSS-Ornate OrnamentsFor the background I blended more distress Oxides onto Bristol using Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Spiced Marmalade & Candied Apple. I also flicked a little bit of liquid watercolors using Aquamarine & Clementine. I used gold thread to make the ornaments look as if they were hanging and adhered a few Crystal Reflections sequins & some drops of glossy accents to finish it off.
