Altenew-Simple Flowers

Hello again! Today I’m also sharing this project over on the Altenew blog featuring the gorgeous Simple Flowers set.Altenew-Simple FlowersI used several delicious Altenew inks on the Simple Flowers images. Then I used the Simple Flowers coordinating dies to die cut each image out and then popped them all up onto a navy panel with an embossed sentiment from the Geometric Flower set.
Altenew-Simple FlowersHere’s a video to show how I made this card.

Just wanted to give you all a heads up about the free gift promotion that Altenew is running this week.

“I love rock and roll, put another dime in the jukebox, baby!” LOL Love your entertaining videos, Laura! (I still hear “Hot Lips!” every time I watch your videos!) And this card is spectacular! You make me want to call off work today and stay home and stamp! Just curious…what is the Pinterest account you mention in the video…you said you were inspired to use the colored background by it. I’d like to check it out! Thanks!

Thank you SO much for referencing the “Rock and Roll” technique! I left a comment on Yana Smakula’s blog recently telling her that’s what we used to call it and it really made me feel old! Ha ha! Also, these darling flowers remind me so much of Mary Engelbreit and your card is fabulous and charming just like a ME print! One last thing, I received a thank you card for a graduation card I had mailed out and it was from the Rifle Paper Co. !!! It 100% inspired me! Thanks for sharing your charming creation!

Gorgeous card! Love all the colours! The best part of that Joan Jett song is actually remembering putting a dime in the jukebox to hear that song! We had a small arcade in my hometown and after school, we would listen to music and play Ms Pacman!!

Love the card…I have this set and really appreciate the inspiration you provide. Love the fact that there are other crafters around of my “vintage”… I had the “I Love Rock and Roll” record?

Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically
tweet my newest twitter updates. I’ve been looking
for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have
some experience with something like this.
Please let me know if you run into anything.
I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward
    to your new updates.

naturally like your website but you have to test the spelling on quite
a few of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling issues and I in finding it very troublesome to
inform the reality then again I will definitely come again again.
