Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Altenew for their September Blog Hop featuring several amazing new washi tapes. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from the Altenew Card Blog. 
I have a couple of projects to share showcasing these fantastic new washi tapes. My first card features the Watercolor Nebula washi. Galaxy Backgrounds are so trendy right now and this is the easiest and quickest way to achieve a gorgeous galaxy night sky.
For the sentiment I die cut the word “yay” with gold glitter cardstock using the Caps Bold Alpha dies. I embossed a coordinating sentiment using Sentiments & Quotes.
This next card features the Painted Fantasy & Golden Edge washi tapes. 
I adhered the Painted Fantasy & Golden Edges tapes on an angle and then cropped off the panel. I adhered the panel onto a Scarlet Jewel card base. I embossed a sentiment from Cherished Memories in gold.

September 29, 2018 at 1:19 amStunning cards, was good to easy how easy it is to straighten out the washi tape cause I am a klutz (that is a word like yay is a word) with lining up stuff and having no bubbles or creases. The gold foil is a great finishing touch. TFS

I am in love with this release, I know it is just washi tape, BUT ALTENEW really knows how to do washi tape like no other company right!!! I collect washi tape, have for years that is why I am so excited and now I get all these cool new amazing different ways to use it from all you amazing designers, so I am on a bit of a high, lol, I really do ADORE your cards and how you used the washi, it goes in my saved pile, Thank you!!!!!!
