You Are Loved ❤️ Release Blog Hop-Day-2

Hello! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for the second day of their You Are Loved Release Blog Hop. You can check out the awesome new release HERE!

SSS-Heart Layers Stencils & Ornate Love

My project features the Heart Layers Stencils. I used distress inks in Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey & Wilted Violet.

SSS-Heart Layers Stencils & Ornate Love

For the sentiment I used the Ornate Love dies for the “LOVE” and blended each letter using the same distress inks. I embossed the “you” using the Ornate Love stamp set. To finish it off I added some Sparkling Clear Sequins.

SSS-Heart Layers Stencils & Ornate Love

Here’s a video to show you how I created this card.

Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $25 coupon to every stop on the hop. Leave me a comment for your chance to win! Winners will be chosen over the weekend and posted on the Simon Says Stamp store blog on Wednesday, January 16th.

Laura, I l o v e this card! Your shading of each heart is lovely…so you created a new color by using the “wrong” blending tool – if you hadn’t said anything, I wouldn’t have known! The black backed “you” was also inspiring…it gave this very pastel card some punch! Best wishes in your travels! I don’t know where you’re from in Central Illinois, but here in Peoria, we are gearing up for our first snow storm of the new year! I’m saying a little prayer for “Grandma” too!

I hope that you have lots of fun while you and your husband are in Germany. My husband and I just got back from there on Oct. 28 2018. We were gone for three weeks. Talking about a blast. I was born over there and this was my first time back. I was simply in awe of alll the buildings, the destruction, rebuilding and of course all of the history!!
    Safe travels.
