Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Altenew for their 5th Anniversary Blog Hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from the Altenew Card blog.
I’ve created a couple of projects using some of my favorite Altenew products. I love to personalize my cards and these Mega Alphabet dies are perfect for adding a monogrammed look.
For the background I used the Cube Builder Stencil, which is one of my all-time favorite stencils ever in the history of ever. I blended Distress Oxide inks in Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers.
This next card uses the Stone Wall Stencil with more Distress Oxide inks: Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch & Wilted Violet.
I added embossed sentiments to both cards using the Sentiments & Quotes stamp set along with a few sequins for embellishment.
Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.

April 12, 2019 at 2:45 pmOkay, I have decided, now that I read your post, that when I win, I am buying that Cube Builder stencil! I didn’t know that was a stencil & I love it! How cool would that look on a tee shirt in multi color? Um, yeah! LOL That’s what I would do with it besides a card. Maybe I would stamp a flower on it too or put tiny flowers or tiny designs in some of the cubes! Sometimes I just see something & come up with all these things I want to do with them! Thank you for the inspiration! When I get it done I will let you & Altenew see it. My head is swimming with designs & it’s all your fault! LOL I also love the sequins on there & the fact that you used my favorite color in the whole wide world on it, yellow! Is the A for Altenew? You said the letters were to personalize the cards. Is the B for your last name? LOL Love them both!
Happy 5th Anniversary Altenew & many, many more!
