Waffle Flower-October Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m joining Waffle Flower for their October release blog hop! I’ve created a couple of festive projects using some of these fun, new products. You can check out the new release HERE!

Waffle Flower-Angle Stripe Panel, Winter Floral Panel, Big Dots Holiday

My first card uses the Angled Stripe Panel.

Waffle Flower-Angel Stripe Panel, Big Dots Holiday

I adhered strips of solid colored cardstock behind the white Angled Stripe Panel. For the sentiment I used the Big Dots Holiday Stamp Set. I added a few die cut leaves from the Winter Floral Panel die and tucked them on the sides of the sentiment.

This next card features the Winter Floral Panel die.

I die cut the panel with white and also with several colors of solid colored cardstock to fill in the negative spaces. I embossed a sentiment from the Big Dots Holiday Stamp Set.

Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.

Laura, your cards always put a smile on my face. I’m loving the simplicity of the dies that coordinate with the paper instead of having to inlay the pieces. I make a ton of cards, so this will be a total time saver.

Love the dies, love the cards! I feel for your daughter but I can up her story. I told my longtime hairdresser that I wanted to grow out my short hair so if she could just trim it so it won’t be so awkward looking as it grows. She agreed and the proceeded to cut my hair so short BUT leave my bangs long! I looked like a skater-boi! I had what looked like a Chelsea cut. People asked if she had shaved my head it was that short! I looked for a new stylist after that! I will say she was seven months pregnant but I just couldn’t forgive her! Now my hair is down to my waist! Lol

I left you a story about haircuts in France ~25 yrs ago on the YT spot for comments, so here I will just say: LOVE your regular rainbows, your Xmas rainbows and pretty much the whole sha-bang of papercrafting that you do! Thanks for being an instant mood boost — although today was a pretty good day to begin with!

I love your beautiful “Christmas rainbow” cards and I love this Waffle Flower release! As for hair cuts, I normally wear my gray hair short, but since the pandemic hit I haven’t been able to get it cut so I’ve been doing it myself (not a good idea). I’m so ready for a change I’ve actually considered dying it pink (I’m 72 years old). It’s not like I ever seen anyone I know…
