Altenew Adventures Ahead Stamps/Dies/Stencils/More Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there! Today I’m joining Altenew for their Adventures Ahead Blog Hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from Kymona Tracey’s blog.

Altenew-Let's Go, Up & Away

My first project features the Let’s Go stamp set.

Altenew-Let's Go

I created a circle frame for the scene using the coordinating Let’s Go die set. The sentiment is also from Let’s Go.

Altenew-Let's Go

My second card features the Up & Away stamp set.

Altenew-Up & Away2

I stamped the hot air balloon using Versafine Onyx Black ink and used the coordinating Up & Away Stencil to blend in the color. The sentiment is also from Up & Away.

Altenew-Up & Away

Here’s a video to show you how I created these cards.

I’m loving the adventure awaits release. Scene cards can be difficult to put together, this makes it easy. I also love that stencils for coloring stamped images has become a thing. I’m not good at copics.

Hi, Laura – It’s been a while since I have done an Altenew Hop, and this one looks really promising. I love both the cards you made and like the circular emphasis. Great work – have a stellar weekend.

Both cards are wonderful, and I totally agree that the balloon design is perfect for a graduation card! The other card fills me with peace and joy, though. I love trees and this scene of a boat on a lake with the trees in the distance is so calming and beautiful! Altenew has done a fantastic job of designing stamps to make realistic scenes!

I love those amazing cards. I also love those wonderful layering stencils that companies are coming out with. Don’t have any yet but they’re definitely on my wish list. By the way, I was so glad to hear your say “there’s no shame in copying.” I copy so many of your projects (at least the ones I have comparable supplies for) and it’s nice to know you don’t mind!

This Altenew release is just spectacular and your cards certainly are as spectacular. Love fact you kept the colors soft but use of black places focus where you want the viewer to look. It is fun to have non-gender specific cards.

Thank you Laura for the wonderful video. I do love that water scene you created- this set is one of the best in all its layers and detail, and I love that it is circular because the card really is so unique and versatile. And I agree that it is awesome that there are stencils to go with those fabulous hot air balloons!
