My project features the Abstract Hearts Hot Foil Plate for on the background. I foiled it using Prism foil. For the adorable tropical bird…is that a Cockatoo or a White Macaw? I used the Tropical Card Kit, which also includes the pre-printed sentiments that I die cut using the Subsentiments Die.

June 5, 2022 at 10:09 amok….according to google search… (I just HAD to– it’s the scientist in me)… this is a cockatoo because of the feathers on his head (they are native to Australia and Asia). Evidently, macaws have a smooth head and larger beak (native to Central and South America). Either way– GORGEOUS and FUN! 🙂

June 5, 2022 at 9:19 pmThat is just soooo cute! And as an Aussie I can say that is definitely a Cockatoo – if you want to get technical, with the yellow crest it is a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo. Macaws don’t have crests. But I do love the card, so colourful, and great to see and Aussie bird represented!

The bird is a cockatoo. Actually a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo. I have one as a pet and his name is Clyde.
