Altenew-Fantasy Floral 3D Die

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this project over on the Altenew blog featuring the Fantasy Floral 3D die set.Altenew-Fantasy Floral 3D
For the background I used the Watercolor Stripes Stencil and blended Mountain Mist, Volcano Lake, Tide Blue & Sapphire ink for a nice, gradient effect.
Altenew-Fantasy Floral 3DI die cut several shades of colored cardsotck with the Fantasy Floral 3D die set. I blended some Pinkalicious ink on the edges of the flower. For the sentiment I used the ‘hello’ from the Flower Arrangement die set.
Altenew-Fantasy Floral 3DHere’s a video to show you how I created this card.

There is only one thing wrong with your videos, Laura ~~ they are not long enough! I just love you and that is the first thing I check when I receive an email notification ~~ is there a video? I so enjoy the way you explain your process and all the stories that you tell are just icing on the cake. This card is beautiful. I really enjoy the two and three step stamp sets, but there is an art to getting everything lined up correctly. Having a die that does the same thing is awesome. Love the dimension! Thanks, Laura.

Beautiful!! Love the colours. I bought this set but haven’t had time to play with it yet. Now that i don’t have to make Christmas cards I’ll break it in!!

Well, this is the first I’ve seen where the layers are paper rather than stamping. Cool look! But I can’t afford another trend right now!! LOL!

Beautiful card!! What a great stencil and I love that you said that you reuse the same blending tools for similar colored inks, I was literally wondering that as you were doing this – it’s like you read my mind! I didn’t know I could do that and, while I’m a bit OCDish, who can afford to have a million ink blenders for a million inks?!? (HA! I wish I had a million inks, but you know what I mean!) Thanks for the tip!
