Limited Editon 2018 Easter Card Kit

Hi there! Have you seen the latest Limited Edition Easter Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp? It’s such a cool kit with a little bit of everything for all your Easter/Spring themed projects. I’m sharing a couple of projects showcasing the kit.
SSS-Limited Editon 2018 Easter Card KitMy first card uses some of the gorgeous Lawn Fawn plaid paper included in the kit. I couldn’t wait to try the Deco Foil Adhesive Pen along with the Gina K Designs Deco Foil sheets on the  plaid paper. It is so easy to use and completely addictive.
SSS-Limited Editon 2018 Easter Card KitThe textured background paper is also included in the kit by Tonic and I added a sentiment using one of the stickers from the Simple Stories sticker sheet as well as a coordinating embossed sentiment from the Easter Wishes stamp set.
SSS-Limited Editon 2018 Easter Card KitFor this next card I had some fun using the Easter Egg Design Trio Stencil Set that comes in the kit.SSS-Limited Editon 2018 Easter Card KitI layered a couple of the stencils to create this patterned Easter egg using Cracked Pistachio & Mermaid Lagoon distress oxide inks. The embossed sentiment is from the Easter Wishes stamp set.
SSS-Limited Editon 2018 Easter Card KitHere’s a video to show you how I created my cards.

This is a Limited Edition kit so once they’re gone, they’re gone, but many of the contents can be purchased separately. There’s a video over on the Simon Says stamp blog walking through the contents of the kit. Thanks so much for stopping by!

I meant to say I can do this type of foiling. It is so easy and no need to use laminating machines.

I love how you played with this kit, Laura! Your wreath and die cut sentiment work perfectly with your gold foiling and I LOVE how you played with the stenciled egg! Two gorgeous cards!

OMG! These two designs are absolutely amazing! I am definitely going to try out the gold foil technique with some DSP or plaid designs. Thank you for sharing this with us crafters. :O)

So BEAUTIFUL Laura!! I’m LOVING this kit, sadly this Easter Bunny(I was born on Easter) missed her chance. They are ALL sold out! Boo Anywho, I will have to try my shot at a few of those items. The foil, YES please! Stencils, btw..great idea about the balloon, & whatever else is still available. Luckily I have the LF Plaid paper <3 <3 + the foil so I'm definitely trying that out! As always, I LOVE your cards & videos! You're too cute!! ;):)

Love the first card the best, and love adding touches of foil and using this pen makes it so easy for us crafters who do not want to purchase the expensive tools to do it.
